I have assembled an accumulation words and phrases that will assist you understand essential French words. When you've determined these simple terms to memory you'll manage to have you initial French dialogue!

Part 1 -

These would be the first French words you'll need to learn. They're easy and very simple to remember. Once you've mastered these then you can move onto part 2.

Yes = Oui

No = Non

Please = S'il vous plat

Thank you = Merci

Youre welcome = De rien

Part 2 -

Focus on part 1 if you can not know what someone says, only use these terms to help get you from this sticky situation.

Excuse Me = Excusez-moi

Sorry = Desol/Pardon

I dont understand = Je ne comprends pas

Here are some fundamental questions that will help you whilst you're out and about touring in France. Once you have determined these words to memory shift onto section 3.

Listed below are the some necessary terms that will assist you meet and fun new people in French.

Hi = Salut

Pleased To Meet You = Attract

Great Morning/Good morning = Bon jour

Great Evening = Bon soir

Goodbye = Au revoir

My name is = Je m'appelle

Here are two good suggestions to help you understand basic French words and enhance your vocabulary.

1 Make your very own language book. Everytime new word is learnt by you, just add it to your book. Be sure to keep it with, and you will have your own tailor made phrase book.

2 Make some flash cards. Write the French word of expression on one side of the card and the English translation on another. Flip the cards and check your French knowledge.
