Senator Folasade Grace Bent was able to break the ethnic barrier in 2007 when she defeated many of her opponents in the senatorial election to represent Adamawa South, the largest senatorial district in the state, on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Since then, the Ilesa, Osun State-born beautiful woman has been a major determining factor in Adamawa politics.
Because of alleged conspiracy by the then governor of the state, she was unable to secure the party s ticket in 2011,though she is a major player and a politician to reckon with in her husband s home state. Senator Grace has made her intention known to go back to the Senate, and she has since received the blessings of the powers that be and the masses, who have missed out of good representation at the Senate.
Apart from being a strong advocate of inter-tribal marriage, the elegant lady is at the forefront of women participation in government.
She has published a book titled: Women in Inter Ethnic Marriages in Nigeria.

The well- endowed senator cut her teeth in politics at the University of Calabar, as she was actively involved in students unionism. She got a BA (Hons) in English and Literary Studies in 1998 and an MSc in Political Science and International Relations in 2003. She has a doctoral degree in Public Administration from Indiana State University, USA. Before entering the Senate, Grace Folashade Bent was political adviser to the then PDP National Chairman, Audu Ogbeh and Assistant Producer in the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Kaduna. After election in 2007, Grace became the Chair of the Senate Committee on Environment. In this capacity, she was involved in a controversy over an extension of permission for gas flaring granted to oil companies by the late President Umaru Yar Adua without consultation with the Senate.
Related Articles:

Louis Vuitton Tivoli

Louis Vuitton Totally

Louis Vuitton W

Legacy Manufacturing is very proud to be one of the first companies to expand in the Marion Enterprise Center, said Mark Weems, president of Legacy, in a news release. Our new 133,000-square-foot facility will more than double our capacity and allow us to continue our growth.
The company said it has purchased enough land to allow for future expansion of up to a 320,000-square-foot facility.

@@@
Education is a key thing that we are doing right now, said Barry. The public needs to know how Ebola is spread and not spread. We receive many questions from people concerned about being in close proximity with people who are well and not ill.

The Ebola virus is spread through direct contact with an infected person s blood or other bodily fluids while he is contagious. To be contagious, a person has to be experiencing symptoms of Ebola such as a fever, headaches, diarrhea, or abdominal pains.

Barry said the virus Bostonians should be worried about isn t Ebola.

Frankly, people are more at risk for influenza, and it s time for everybody to get their flu vaccine, she said.

Here is according to the CDC:

- High risk: suspected cases are those who have had a needle stick, been exposed to the mucous membrane or other bodily fluids of a confirmed Ebola patient without personal protective equipment. Someone who has had direct skin contact with a person who is contagious, or with a contagious person s remains, without protective equipment would also be classified as high risk.

- Low risk: suspected cases have either been in the same home as a confirmed Ebola patient or they have had close contact with a patient in health care facilities. Walking by an infected person or moving through a hospital, according to the CDC, does not qualify as close contact. People sitting next to you on an airplane who are not actively sick are not likely to give you Ebola, Barry said.

- No risk: suspected cases have likely been to an area where the Ebola outbreak occurred within the past 21 days but had no exposure.
Related Articles:

Celine Cabas Bags

Celine Wallets

Celine Clasp Bags

@@@
"With 15,000 students at UEA, over a year we would save enough water to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool 26 times over ... Imagine how big an impact it could have if we could get everyone in East Anglia, or even the UK, to change their morning habits ... The campaign has been really divisive - people either seem to love it or hate it," according to Dobson, 20.
Dobson also added, "As long as the water is flowing there is no hygiene risk as urine is sterile but we would encourage that every person using the same shower consents to the challenge and if not that they don't take part."
There is a wee problem: urine is not actually sterile.
Evann Hilt authored a study that took urine samples from 84 women. The urine of healthy bladders had 33 types of bacteria, whereas overactive bladders showed 77 different kinds of bacteria. Hilt said that the bacteria is common bacteria that could be found elsewhere in the body, according to .
Some, like the character Patches O'Houlihan in the movie "," say urine is sterile, but that concept is a misunderstanding of the findings of Edward Kass, according to Today.
In the 1950's, the epidemiologist was looking for a certain number of bacteria that would indicate a bladder infection. Kass never called urine "sterile," but clinicians have used the word to indicate that the sample is free from infection.
"There is bacteria on our body, and we wouldn't be able to survive without them. There are just a few bacteria out there that cause illness," said Hilt, as reported by Today.
To pee or not to pee: That is the question.

Related Articles:

Louis Vuitton Alma Tassen

Louis Vuitton tassen Speedy

Louis Vuitton Portemonn

The top financial brass from the Treasuries and central banks of Britain and the US are to take part in a war game, behind closed doors in Washington on Monday, to test how they would handle another -style banking crisis .

Six years after the financial earthquake that led to the multibillion-pound taxpayer bailouts of Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group, the most senior policymakers from both sides of the Atlantic will try to find out whether they are now any better prepared for the collapse of a bank deemed too big to fail.

The chancellor, George Osborne, and Mark Carney, the governor of the Bank of England, will stay on at the end of the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank to head the UK team in the exercise, which is to be held at the offices of the Federal Deposit Insurance Commission the organisation that guarantees US bank deposits.

They will be joined by 11 others, including the chairman of the Federal Reserve, Janet Yellen, the US treasury secretary, Jack Lew, and regulators from Britain and America, for a test of how the authorities would respond to two possible scenarios the collapse of an American bank with UK operations and the failure of a British bank with operations in the US.

Although the war game will not be based on any specific institution, UK banks with operations in the US include Barclays and HSBC, while US investment banks such as Goldman Sachs and Bank of America have a big presence in the City.

Osborne said it was the first time a war game had been conducted at such a senior level. We will work through how we would respond to the failure of a cross-border firm. We are going to make sure we could handle an institution previously regarded as too big to fail, he said.

The decision by the US authorities to let Lehman collapse in September 2008 set off a chain reaction in financial markets that was only halted when governments around the world stepped in with taxpayers cash to recapitalise banks seen as at risk.

Monday s game will involve the collapse of a single bank rather than the sort of systemic failure threatened in 2008. But Osborne said lessons had been learned from 2008, with policymakers now having options they lacked then.

The chancellor said he needed to be sure the government was better prepared for what s thrown at us and better prepared to protect taxpayers than the previous administration in the UK was .

The last Labour government pumped more than 65bn into RBS and Lloyds in October 2008 but Osborne said enormous progress had been making on tackling the too-big-to-fail problem since then.

The war game is designed to stress-test the new domestic and global rules for regulating and supervising banks devised since 2008.

In the UK, the government has handed new watchdog powers to the City, ring-fenced the retail operations of banks from their investment arms and forced banks to hold more capital. At the global level, the Financial Stability Board, chaired by Carney, has been seeking to ensure financial regulation is consistent across borders.

Osborne said: In 2008, the judgment of my predecessor and others was that banks like RBS were too big to fail. I want to make sure that either myself or my successors in this job would have real options and would avoid bailing in the taxpayer. I m pretty confident that is the case.

The chancellor said Monday s event would try to pack into a morning a crisis that would unfold over several days.

No war game is like war itself, Osborne said. But it means we will be far better prepared. I m sure this is not the last time this will happen. Monday s war game will take place after the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund in Washington in which the risk of a fresh recession in the euro zone has been a dominant theme.

Osborne said the problems of the euro zone posed the biggest threat to the world and UK economies and admitted that Britain was not immune to the deteriorating outlook for its biggest trading partner.

This is a critical moment for the British economy and the world economy , the chancellor said. Serious clouds are gathering on the horizon .

Osborne made it clear that he expected UK growth to slow as a result of its exposure to the euro zone. There are risks to Britain s growth from the euro zone and we are seeing some of them materialise , he said.

The chancellor said that the euro zone finance ministers and central bank governors knew they were under the microscope in Washington. They know they have some questions to answer.
