175.44.57.43: Foot Health- A bunion or arthritis- Women often get the painful conditions confused

@@@
By Dr. Sarah Voelkel
KyForward columnist

Women 鈥?are you confusing a bunion with arthritis?

No woman wants to hear that she has arthritis, especially in her feet.聽 But with the average person taking thousands of steps each day, it鈥檚 no wonder arthritis affects us.聽

Unfortunately, some women confuse what they think is pain from a bunion with arthritis in the big toe joint. This condition is called Hallux limitus and most commonly affects females. We usually see its onset in a patient鈥檚 30s, and it progresses over time.

Hallux rigidus (Photo from Wikimedia Commons)
The reason women may confuse Hallux limitus with a bunion is the fact that this condition also causes a bump and enlargement at your big toe joint that may appear similar to a bunion. As the condition progresses, more degenerative changes to the joint occur. More spurs develop, the range of motion gradually decreases and the joint can become very stiff. When the pain increases and the function decreases, we then refer to this as Hallux rigidus.聽

How do you get arthritis in your feet?

Arthritis in the big toe joint can be hereditary but also due Sac Louis vuitton to structural abnormalities of the foot.聽 Most patients notice a gradual enlargement of the big toe joint with bumps on the top and side of the joint.聽 However, many times it鈥檚 only with increased exercise or activity levels that they may notice increased pain, achiness and sometimes swelling of the joint.聽

The condition can easily be diagnosed in a physical exam by your podiatrist and with X-rays of the foot.聽聽The X-rays are needed to determine the extent of the issue and help guide treatment.

How do you treat it?

Non-surgical: Hallux limitus is initially treated conservatively.聽 Depending on your pain level you may need steroid injections to decrease inflammation in the area, oral anti-inflammatory medication or ice/heat therapy.聽 Changing shoe gear is important as well as adding custom orthotic devices to your shoes to help offload the stress at the big toe joint.

If the condition continues to progress, causing pain and decreased function, despite the conservative treatment, surgery is then recommended.聽 The severity of the condition at that time will determine which surgical procedure to do.聽

For more minor conditions we can perform a cheilectomy where the spurs are resected from the joint area.聽 This can help improve the joint motion and decrease pain.聽 It is known as a joint-salvaging procedure so the joint is preserved.

For more advanced conditions where the joint is significantly degenerated, the joint-salvaging procedures are not LOUIS VUITTON Site Officiel the best option.聽 We then need to look at replacing or fusing the joint surfaces.聽

Depending on your foot structure and the level of joint involvement you may be a candidate for joint replacement where one or both surfaces are replaced with a joint implant.聽 This allows for continued joint range of motion, decreased effect on activity level and improved patient satisfaction.聽

There are risks of the implant loosening or failing over time, possibly requiring future LOUIS VUITTON Homme surgical revision.聽

If you are not a candidate for joint replacement, the next option is joint fusion.聽 This is done by removing the damaged cartilage and fixating the area with screws and possibly a plate.聽 This is a permanent correction of the condition with elimination of the arthritis and improved pain.聽

Most patients do very well with this despite having a fused joint and most are able to resume some type of physical activity.聽 Recovery from surgery is quicker for the cheilectomy and joint implant-approximately four to six weeks, but a little longer for the fusion so as to allow adequate time for the bones to fuse-up to eight to 10 weeks.聽

Again, conservative treatment is the best option, but if left unchecked, surgery may be the only option left. If you are unsure if you have arthritis in your feet, contact your podiatrist and have a full examination.
175.44.57.43: Our View- Good economic news hard for most to believe

@@@
According to Gallup s weekly survey of economic confidence, public opinion hit a low for the year last week, and the trend has been downward since December.
There are several explanations for this. Consumer confidence is a lagging indicator that climbs and falls in response to other events. There also seems to be some politics involved, with Republicans taking a much darker view of the future than Democrats.
But an undeniable fact is that while the economy is growing, it is not growing for Celine Bags Outlet everyone. Most of us are recovering from not just the Great Recession, but also decades of stagnant wages.
A recent found that in inflation-adjusted dollars, the median family was 20 percent poorer in 2013 than the median family of 1984. The bottom 25 percent of households 鈥?which didn t have much to begin with 鈥?fell even further Celine Outlet Store and controls 60 percent less wealth than it did in 1984. Meanwhile, the top 5 percent has seen a 100 percent increase in wealth in the last 30 years, and has recovered much more quickly than any other group from the financial collapse.
Those numbers should give a strong indication as to which direction the wealth of this nation has been redistributed under the economic policies implemented in the Reagan revolution.
For these last three decades, we have been promised that growth is good for everyone and that a rising tide lifts all boats. But that hasn t been true even in the good times, and when the business cycle bottoms out, people at the bottom fall further and recover more slowly than the people at the top.
This is a result of government policy and won t change without intervention.
Raising the minimum wage high enough to bring anyone with a job out of poverty is a good place to start. Extending subsidies for health care and higher education to share opportunity more equally is also important. Public infrastructure projects that would put people to work and pump money into the economy should not be put off any longer.
With 70 percent of our economy based on consumption, it is wrong to expect people struggling to provide the basics for their families to give the economy the vitality it needs to soar.
We have been waiting six years for the Celine UK turnaround. If this is as good as it s going to get, it s easy to understand why people don t feel rosy.

Citbank says in docs that the money went straight into Ne-Yo's business checking account ... and that he would take out 25k Monogram Multicolore cash multiple times along with wiring other large amounts to other accounts and even his accountant
They are suing him for the unpaid loans + they want to seize the property/assets he put up for collateral on the loan

175.44.57.43: Why Kevin Love for Andrew Wiggins is a good deal, but bad business.

@@@
via
If that picture doesn't make you change your pants...

Alright kids, I have zero idea how to do one of these things, but they look pretty fancy and official. You're probably thinking, "Bell wrote a fanpost? I bet it's super negative, super sucky, and full of grammatical errors. Also, I hate that guy." Well, you nailed it my friends. This is going to be a train wreck, but just can't look away now.
, according my sources, plays good basketball. Sure he has his shortcomings, but no one (I hope) is arguing that he wouldn't make this team a sure fire top title contender. I would welcome the imminent Kevin Love addition, but my issue isn't, necessarily, giving up Wiggins for him. If we land Love, I'm still going to be pretty damn happy. Wiggins for Love, in a vacuum, is a good deal for both sides. MIN gets a potential superstar, CLE gets a superstar. Wiggins for Love, Louis Vuitton Alma Tassen not in a vacuum, is still a great sports move. "Well then Mr. Negative, what's the issue?" I'm glad you asked, planted question guy. With the last two superstar trades of Dwight and Melo, at the time, it looked like ORL/DEN received scraps. Sure they got nice pieces and picks, but it wasn't even close to fair value. It wasn't fair value, because the only leverage ORL/DEN had were where they could send that player. Their superstar was leaving, and every NBA team knew it. No team was going to give a fair deal for a player that could be had in free agency.
What's the difference with Love? Love has said he would resign with CLE. GS refuses to give up Klay Thompson. BOS hasn't even been mentioned. CHI reportedly, then unreported, gave a decent offer. It is/was a four team race, and CLE is ahead by a mile. Unless GS changes it's stance, and I don't see that changing, they're hanging way back. BOS loaded with picks and young talent (pun intended) is still at the starting gate making kissy eyes at Sam Hinkie. CHI is still laps behind CLE, it's bum knees are forcing them to pace themselves. I've heard the argument that CLE has to give up Wiggins to keep CHI from getting them, well that seems silly. Unless CHI hears from Love that he's willing to resign there, I can't imagine CHI giving up Dougie, Mirotic, and Taj for a shot that Love resigns. We can also discuss Reinsdorf historically frugal tenancies, perhaps he doesn't want to pay Love, Rose, and Noah all at the same time in the future. That's enough for me to roll the dice and play hardball with MIN. Love has stated he wants to come to CLE and resign. What more do you need to hear? Why would you give up Wiggins (along with other valuable assets) to a team that really has no leverage. Again, I understand MIN can technically send Love anywhere, but Louis Vuitton tassen Speedy what team is going risk assets to get a guy they aren't completely sure will resign with them? That's the leverage MIN has, they CAN send Love anywhere. The problem is, it takes two to bump-and-grind (this is a young man's game. The tango is for the wine drinkers, sorry Zavac) and teams, you'd think, would be Louis Vuitton Portemonn cautious to give up a lot without that guarantee. As far as I see things, that doesn't give MIN too much leverage. If they want to hold on to Love, seems like a poor idea but Flip is a walking poor idea, Kevin leaves and welcomes free agency.
I'm aware that CLE won't technically have room for Love to sign as a free agent, but I'm sure they could figure out a way to make it happen (I'll be honest, I don't really know how the cap stuff works so if it's not possible just go to the comments and tell me to "jog on"). The other issue with free agency is that perhaps Love wants to go to the /Golden State/? etc., but I'm willing to roll the dice on that. Normally, I'm the "free agents don't want to come to CLE unless you overpay" guy, but with Love already saying he'd resign, I have no problem with the FA gamble.
"So, what do you mean Wiggins for Love is 'bad business'?" Again, excellent question. As I've pounding into the ground above, I don't believe MIN has the leverage to demand Wiggins. I'm not giving up a potential superstar to a team that, unless they're willing to lose him for nothing, won't have their superstar past 6 more months. MIN is the guy walking into the pawn shop with stolen goods. They're taking $50 for that $300 watch, or they aren't getting jack.
It's not a bad deal, it's just bad business.
That would be none other than former President Bill Clinton, who spoke this weekend at the funeral of Richard Scaife, a billionaire conservative and key figure in the so-called 鈥渞ight-wing conspiracy鈥?who spent millions touting presidential scandals and backing some of the most harsh critics of Clinton during his years in office.
It turns out that after Clinton left office, he and Scaife found common cause in the Clinton Foundation鈥檚 work fighting AIDS in Africa, and the two men formed what Clinton calls a 鈥渃ounterintuitive friendship.鈥?
鈥淗e fought as hard as he could for what he believed, but he never thought he had to be blind or deaf鈥?to other views, Clinton said of Scaife, . 鈥淥ur differences are important鈥?but they don鈥檛 have to keep us at arm鈥檚 length from others.鈥?
And this $600 million funding boost to national security agencies is very much about having enough resources and personnel to keep a watchful eye.
But it s not merely a numbers game. The Australian government has a responsibility not to knowingly allow its citizens to wreak bloody havoc in the world.
With upwards of 150 Australians suspected of fighting in Syria and Iraq, there is also the threat posed should they return home.
But again, this type of danger is not without precedent. The concern in years gone by was over Australians fighting in Afghanistan or Somalia. Similarly, the Brits had a serious challenge with radicalised young men with family ties to Louis Vuitton Artsy GM Pakistan.
As a result, Western security agencies have become pretty adept at monitoring borders and spotting the international links that are usually needed to draw people to the fight.
What has changed in recent times - aside from the location of the conflicts - is the numbers of those involved, increasing the chance of someone with malevolent intent slipping by.
That makes for an understandable case Damier Azur Toile to increase the resources for security agencies.
But not a convincing argument for dramatic changes to the law, especially on the need to store massive amounts of personal data about Australians (an idea on the backburner, for now).
The internet has long harboured a dark side of extremist propaganda. Without doubt, the sharing of graphic images on social media has increased the potential audience. But there is a big difference between idiots gawking at violence and actually planning an attack.
Invoking the threat of lone wolf terrorists seems especially overblown. Terrorism is an act of political violence and while that does not preclude Louis Vuitton Alma someone acting alone, a cell of like-minded conspirators is far more likely to encourage, plan and execute an attack.
The criminal code has proved well equipped to deal with individuals.
This is not to be ignorant of the huge moral challenge if security agencies believe extra powers can save lives.
But the Abbott government must make a better case for new laws and be mindful of its conservative predecessor, to be alert and not alarmed.

@@@
Apple has a couple more new products to announce before the year is out, and it plans to unveil them in a few weeks time.
People familiar with Apple鈥檚 plans tell AllThingsD that the company will hold its next invitation-only event on Tuesday, October 22. The focal point of the gathering will be the latest updates to the company s iPad line, but the new Mac Pro and OS X Mavericks will likely get some stage time Louis Vuitton Tassen Kopen as well, I m told.
The fifth-generation iPad is expected to feature a thinner, lighter design akin to the iPad mini s, and an improved camera. It will run Apple鈥檚 new 64-bit A7 chip. The second-generation iPad mini will be upgraded with a retina display and also see the A7 incorporated into Louis Vuitton its innards. It s not clear whether Apple s new iPads will feature the Touch ID fingerprint sensor that recently debuted on the iPhone 5s, though that has been rumored.
Sources declined to specify where the event is to be held, and I鈥檝e not been able to confirm a location. My understanding is that it will not be held at the California Theatre in San Jose, the site of the iPad mini s unveiling in 2012. That leaves Apple鈥檚 Town Hall Auditorium in Cupertino and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Geodkoop Louis Vuitton Francisco as the two most likely locations.
Worth noting: The date of Apple s fall event coincides with both , and in the United States.
Reached for comment, Apple declined to give one.
Update: was first to report October 22 as the date of Apple s fall event.

No one has seen more jokes being made at his expense without actually doing something bad than Derrick Rose. Being injured and not playing or playing well makes you an easy target. Rose is Sacs du soir Louis Vuitton into his second and is playing with Team USA, with George heading into his first season of a max contract.
Players have bounced back from these long injuries. Rose might finally be on the right path, although he will need more than just a little bit of luck, which hasn t been on his side over the last two years. George was unlucky in the way he fell. Trying to see this as a bigger thing is simply trying to ride it out for your own ends.
The biggest losers out of all of this, obviously, are the Indiana Pacers. Lance Stephenson is gone, Paul George is gone too. The plane, an RC-135 Rivet Joint, was conducting electronic surveillance on the Russian military when the Russians began tracking it with land-based radar, ultimately sending a fighter jet to intercept the plane, reported.

175.44.57.43: Cloud revenue jumps, led by Microsoft and IBM

@@@
It's not just talk - they are backing it up with a lot of investment, said John Dinsdale, an analyst at Synergy. The so-called magic quadrant reports by Gartner, a technology research firm, are closely followed by tech suppliers and their corporate customers. The reports include assessments of tech companies' strengths and weaknesses as well as a graphic plotting companies on two axes. Left-to-right placement in the graphic is based on completeness of vision, and bottom-to-top placement shows ability to execute. Leaders are in the upper-right quadrant of Sac Louis Vuitton Neverfull the graphic, while niche players are consigned to the lower left.In Gartner's report last year on basic cloud services, IBM was among the niche players (and in 2012, it wasn't even included as a player at all). This year, helped by the acquisition of SoftLayer, a cloud startup, and its own internal investment, it has moved sharply to the right, and higher, though it is not yet in the leaders area - the vision is strong, according to Gartner, but the execution still lags a bit.Microsoft has moved up and to the right this year, into the leaders area. Last year, Gartner positioned Microsoft about where IBM is this year.Amazon is still the star in Gartner's chart of the cloud industry, some distance above Microsoft, the only other company in the leaders quadrant, among 15 companies Gartner included in the report.Measurements in the cloud marketplace are tricky. Companies define their cloud businesses differently. And the big companies do not report their cloud revenue or profit separately, although they do occasionally make statements. When Microsoft announced its quarterly results last month, it declared that its cloud revenue was running at a $US4.4 billion annual rate. IBM said its cloud business was 50 per cent higher so far this year, but did not supply a dollar figure. In its annual report, IBM said that its cloud revenue in 2013 was $US4.4 billion. So this year would appear to be on track to be well north of $US6 billion. Amazon's cloud revenue, according to a recent estimate by Pacific Crest Securities, will reach $US5 billion this year.Yet the Microsoft and IBM numbers include things not in the Amazon estimates. Amazon's cloud offers computing, storage and basic software tools used by engineers. But Sac Louis Vuitton Palermo Microsoft and IBM add the software delivered to customers over the cloud, from spreadsheets to data-analysis applications. IBM's revenue total, analysts say, also includes cloud-related services and even hardware used in setting up cloud computing environments that companies own themselves, so-called private clouds. So comparing Microsoft and IBM's cloud revenue to Amazon's is not an apples-to-apples exercise. For Microsoft, it is apples, oranges and pears, said Lydia Leong, a Gartner analyst. For IBM, it's apples, oranges, pears and the kitchen sink. Yet it is the business beyond basic cloud computing - beyond the apples, to continue the analogy - that is most strategic to Microsoft and IBM. They have to convert their lucrative traditional software products to cloud offerings, and both companies are doing that aggressively.Microsoft and IBM may lose licensing revenue in the shift to the lower-cost cloud model, selling services rather than products. But if they don't make the transition quickly, they will lose their most valuable asset - their long-term corporate customers. The cloud business today represents a tiny slice of the overall information Sac Louis Vuitton Pallas technology market, but it is where the market is headed. Microsoft and IBM are eager to make that transition, and so are their clients. In the past year, we're seeing customers take the incumbents with them into the cloud, said Robert P. Mahowald, an analyst at IDC.For tech suppliers, big changes in the models of computing delivery and economics can be brutal or beautiful. In the 1980s and 1990s, the shift away from mainframes and minicomputers to personal computers tethered to corporate servers - known as client-server computing - nearly killed IBM, and it made Microsoft the dominant company of that era.The New York Times

@@@
Keep up with your favorite teams and athletes with daily updates.
BOSTON (CBS) It was a Buy or Sell Monday on The Adam Jones Show s Game Of Jones.
With Rich Keefe filling in for Jones, here are the topics he had to tackle:
- Buy or Sell:聽Rajon Rondo and Marcus Smart both finish the year with the Celtics?
I m going to sell that, because I still think Rondo gets traded, said Keefe, noting . I m a Rondo guy and I know there are few of them in this town, but he s going to be somewhere else. Theyre going to move on from him, and Marcus Smart should be a PG. Let him be the point guard and trade Rondo, and Celine Bags try to get the most return you can for a guy who is going to be a FA at the end of the year.
-聽Buy or Sell:聽Paul George s injury will cause the Pacers to become sellers?
I m going to sell the sellers aspect. It s a huge loss, but it s still the Eastern Conference, said Keefe. The East isn t as bad, because they gained another team. The Heat aren t as good, but they re still a playoff team. Cleveland is now very good. But you go down the list, Indy falls away from being a contender, but Brooklyn, New York, Charlotte they re not that good. We ll see if Indiana聽can get creative and add some pieces there, but they ll go forward with Hibbert, Hill and West, and that might be enough to be a playoff team.
- Buy or Sell:聽The Red Sox will make a legitimate push to sign Jon Lester?
Still selling, said Keefe. Do I think they ll at least聽offer Lester a contract? Yes I do. But I think they re going to really put his hometown discount to the test. They might wait and see what the Yankees, Dodgers, whatever those teams offer and then get <their>offer] up there, but one they don t expect him to take.
- Buy or Sell:聽Rob Gronkowski will play Week 1?
I m going to buy it. They didn t put him on the PUP list, and I understand they didn t put him on the PUP list last year and he missed six games, said Keefe. Buy Celine Bags He s not doing contact drills and he s not down in Richmond to square off against聽the Redskins, but this is just Week 1 of the preseason and he s already been out there with the team. You have another month to get ready so I will buy him playing Week 1.
- Buy or Sell:聽Tom Brady will throw 30+ touchdowns this year?
He had 25 last year, the lowest he s had since 2006. So I ll take the over, said Keefe. I don t think he ll smash the over, I don t think Peyton Manning s new record is in any kind of jeopardy. But I think he can hit the low 30 s this year. You look at last year, all the games he played without Gronk and not being on the same Celine UK Outlet page as some of the receivers. You just have to hope another year with Thompkins, maybe Dobson, if Amendola gives you a little more, and if Gronk plays more than half the games, right there that ll increase you touchdown total. I ll say he throws for over 30, but it s close.

@@@
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Logan Gonzales has a severe nut allergy.
鈥淢y throat closes and my tongue gets really big,鈥?Gonzales explained.
This 12-year-old has been in the hospital nearly 50 times because of his nut allergy. It makes him scared to go new places and he is often segregated at school to protect against exposure. Logan and his family bought an allergy detection dog with the hope of allowing Logan to expand his world.
鈥淲e had hopes that this would change his life,鈥?said Judie Gonzales, Logan鈥檚 mom.
The Gonzales family paid $17,000 to Louis Vuitton Tassen Kopen Angel Service Dogs, based in Monument, Colo., for a labradoodle named Roxie. Roxie was trained to sniff out and alert to the scent of peanuts. The family聽says when they took Roxie home she could detect the scent, but she was far too distracted to work efficiently as a service dog.
鈥淚鈥檝e been training dogs approximately 35-years,鈥?said Sean Hartley, a dog trainer based in Colorado Springs.
Hartley says he tried to train Roxie to be an Angel Service Dog, but she didn鈥檛 have the right personality. He says she was easily distracted, which made her a poor聽candidate for working as a service dog.
鈥淩oxie was not ready,鈥?Hartley told CBS4.
He says he told that same thing to Sherry Mers, the owner of Angel Service Dogs, before Roxie went home with the Gonzales family. But the dog was sold anyway.
鈥淚t looked like it started to become more about the money than Louis Vuitton the product we were putting out, and not about the kids,鈥?Hartley said about Angel Service Dogs.
Judy Gonzales says her son and the rest of the family love Roxie and wouldn鈥檛 want to give her up. She calls the labradoodle a very expensive house pet. She also tells CBS4 that in the nine years they鈥檝e owned Roxie, Logan has been to the hospital 15 times because of his peanut allergy.
RELATED:
Sean Hartley is still training scent detection dogs for peanut allergy suffers. He works privately and says he picks the dogs and the families that he works with very carefully. He also charges around $10,000, about half of what Angel Service Dogs charges.
鈥淭he dogs that are sweeping in front of the President (of the U.S.) cost roughly between $10,000 and $15,000 and that鈥檚 with 12 odors鈥orking for the President. I couldn鈥檛 understand how someone could charge so much for a dog working one odor,鈥?Hartley said.
Hartley trained Max to detect peanuts for 6-year-old Dillon.
鈥淗ow does he tell if there鈥檚 a peanut in there?鈥?asked CBS4鈥檚 Suzanne McCarroll.鈥淗e sniffs first and then he sits,鈥?Dillon replied.
鈥淭o have that level of protection, I don鈥檛 know if you can put a price on it,鈥?said Dillon鈥檚 Geodkoop Louis Vuitton father, Rudy Haberzettl.
Haberzettl and Hartley both agree that a scent detection dog is just one of many tools that families should use to keep their children safe. No one tool is foolproof, but using several lines of defense can help keep children out of the hospital.
CBS4 tried to contact Sherry Mers, the owner of Angel Service Dogs for comment on this report. She did not return our calls. In the past she has publically said that she stands by all of the training for all of her dogs. She also says that the families who buy scent detection dogs have a responsibility to maintain the training after the dog is in the home.

175.44.57.43: Wisconsin State Fair artist features beautiful works made from… jelly beans-

@@@
WEST ALLIS聽(WITI) They re made in just about every flavor you can imagine to satisfy your sweet tooth, but Kristen Cumings uses Jelly Belly jelly beans in a very different way.
I never would ve guessed that I would be doing this. It s fun, it s really fun, said Cumings.
She takes the chewy candy many love, to make beautiful works of art.
I was amazed. I was really surprised at how huge the pictures are and when you stand back the animals look almost real, said Eileen Westerfield聽as she watched Cumings work.
This week, Cumings has been working on her latest masterpiece for visitors at the Wisconsin State Louis Vuitton Tassen Kopen Fair to watch and enjoy.
Surprisingly, she s not the first Jelly Belly artist in residence.
Jelly Belly has actually had an art program since the 1980s. Peter Rocha was the first artist and he created a picture of Ronald Reagan when he was president, said Cumings.
Currently, she s working on a portrait of a bengal tiger, which is part of a series of pieces she s doing Louis Vuitton to raise awareness about endangered species.
After painting the image, she uses an all-purpose spray adhesive to begin sticking on the jelly beans.
At the end when it s all filled up with beans, I lay it聽flat and I use a two-part聽epoxy resin that seals and covers all of the beans and it actually has a bit of a UV protectant聽in it to help keep them from fading, said Cumings.
But the tricky part is not eating your art supplies.
It Geodkoop Louis Vuitton s one for the picture one for the mouth, one for the picture, maybe two for the mouth, said Westerfield.
Now Cumings is inspiring people to make their own Jelly Belly art.
I told her I might take my jelly beans or Jelly Belly s and go home and start it up tonight or this afternoon, said Kathleen Lysaght,聽after talking to Cumings.
Cumings was at the State Fair聽Sunday and聽Monday until 5 p.m.
She says it typically takes her about 100 hours to complete one of聽her Jelly Belly works of art.

175.44.57.43: Despite Reddick homers, Royals take series from A’s

@@@
The A鈥檚 Crisp-less offense seems either to pour on the runs all in one inning or the A鈥檚 do next to nothing.
On Sunday, Oakland did not get a big blowout inning, just two solo homers from Josh Reddick, and the Royals beat Celine Doctor Frame Bags the A鈥檚 4-2 to take the series two games to one. Reddick鈥檚 leadoff shot in the sixth ended a perfect game for James Shields, who went eight innings for the victory.
Reddick homered his next at-bat, too, with two outs in the eighth on the first pitch from Shields, but the A鈥檚 had only two other hits on the day. 聽The previous day, they scored eight times in the fifth inning to snap a 20-inning scoreless streak.
鈥淥ur bats aren鈥檛 really where we want them right now, the last week or so,鈥?Reddick said. 鈥淲e aren鈥檛 swinging the bats as well as we could. 鈥?We know we鈥檙e going to come out of it, we鈥檙e all tired of waiting. We鈥檙e better than what we鈥檝e seen the last week or so, we all know that.鈥?
Coco Crisp, the A鈥檚 leadoff man, has missed each of the past seven games and the A鈥檚 are 3-4 in those games. The problem has led to erratic availability the past two months, but Sunday, Crisp had a good day of hitting in the cage.
鈥淲e鈥檙e not swinging great and to not have him 鈥?a guy who gets on, creates havoc, takes the pitcher鈥檚 attention off the hitter, gets big hits 鈥?it hurts,鈥?manager Bob Melvin said. 鈥淏ut he had a good day today and that鈥檚 good news. If everything goes well, maybe we鈥檙e real close to having him in a game.鈥?
鈥淚t鈥檚 never the same without Coco in our leadoff spot,鈥?Reddick said. 鈥淗e鈥檚 our sparkplug, we need him back in there as soon as possible.鈥?
The Angels (66-44) beat the Rays on Sunday to move a game behind the A鈥檚 (67-43) in the AL West. The division rivals have the top two records in the majors.
Shields鈥?former Tampa Bay teammate Scott Kazmir started for Oakland and he had a just-one-inning problem of his own. He gave up five hits, a walk and four runs in the fifth inning, and a stretch of four consecutive hits by Kansas City decided the game.
鈥淚 was getting behind hitters, a couple of pitches were up in the zone,鈥?Kazmir said. 鈥淥ther than that, I felt good, good tempo. That fifth inning, a couple of hits in a row and I wasn鈥檛 able to keep them at bay.鈥?
Christian Colon led off the inning with a double, and Alcides Escobar drew a one-out walk before Nori Aoki鈥檚 RBI single the other way past Josh Donaldson, playing on the grass in front of third; a two-run double by Omar Infante; and an RBI single by Salvador Perez.
鈥淭hey were hitting it in the right spot, it seemed like,鈥?Kazmir said.
Kazmir, one of the A鈥檚 seven All-Stars (counting Monday starter Jeff Samardzija) hadn鈥檛 allowed more than two runs in a start since June 24 vs. the Mets in New York.
鈥淗e just got a couple balls up, missed location on a couple of pitches,鈥?Melvin said. 鈥淚 mean, really not all that bad. The balls they did hit hard found holes. We hit some balls hard later in the game when we started to get momentum, and right at people. You鈥檝e got to give (Shields) credit, too, he pitched a really good game.鈥?
Shields (10-6) has allowed only four runs in his past three starts and 25 innings at the Coliseum, and Celine Luggage on Sunday, the Royals鈥?shift helped rob several potential A鈥檚 hits.
鈥淎 lot of teams have been super patient against me and this team was a free-hacking team today, which is not really their game,鈥?Shields said. 鈥淭hey have a bunch of hitters over there that were being aggressive and I was able to execute my pitches early in the count. The first couple innings I figured out they were trying to be aggressive with me; as long as I executed pitches I was going to get outs.鈥?
With much of the rest of the offense dipping, Reddick 鈥?who is using 鈥淐areless Whisper鈥?as his walkup music again after a one-day break with 鈥淲ild Thing鈥?after the All-Star break 鈥?has been the one A鈥檚 hitter faring well at the plate, batting .390 with four homers in 12 games since coming off the DL.
鈥淩eal balanced, using his legs, obviously the confidence factor, not worrying about the injury, makes another great play, throwing a guy out,鈥?Melvin said. 鈥淗e鈥檚 seeing the ball well, he鈥檚 getting a couple of good at-bats per game, driving the ball well, which we always like to see out of him. Swinging it well.鈥?
鈥淚鈥檓 just not trying too hard,鈥?Reddick said. 鈥淓ven with the two home runs today, I鈥檓 not trying to hit it and that鈥檚 when I鈥檓 the best hitter I can be, when I鈥檓 not trying to hit the ball out of the park. .. Everything feels balanced, everything feels great and the effort level is down.鈥?
Melvin had mentioned Saturday that Reddick might move back up the order; Reddick hit seventh on Sunday.
Reddick also shined in the field, slamming up against the wall in right for a drive by Aoki in the seventh inning and easily doubling Escobar off first. It was the 30th assist of the season for an Oakland outfielder, most in the league.
鈥淲ith Aoki, I鈥檓 not playing too deep, he鈥檚 not known for hitting the ball over too many guys鈥?heads,鈥?Reddick said. 鈥淪o I just broke back as hard as I could, and I took a quick glance and saw the runner past second. I knew I鈥檇 have a great chance to get him.鈥?
The A鈥檚 didn鈥檛 have baserunners in the first three innings Friday or the first four innings Saturday and Sunday.
鈥淲e haven鈥檛 been at our best offensively here, and now we come up against some good starting pitching that seemed to be on their game early, right away,鈥?Melvin said. 鈥淚t might be more of a product of us not being at our best offensively.鈥?

@@@
Interleague and crosstown rivalry looked like a one sided affair as the Los Angeles Angels easily beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-0 with a strong pitching performance from Garrett Richards, backed up by a Josh Hamilton home run and RBI doubles from Albert Pujols and Mike Trout.
The Angels still don t have the lead in the AL West; it s a rough world to live in with the Oakland Louis Vuitton Chain Louise A s doing so well. But they re 67-44, looking quite solid at the moment for at least one of the wild card spots, hoping they can turn the rest of the season into something more. The Dodgers are still in pole position after the loss (63-50) when it comes to their two-headed race with the San Francisco Giants in the NL West, but they have only 1.5 games of a lead.
Richards became only the third pitcher in the Angels-Dodgers rivalry to throw a shutout, lasting all nine innings and giving up just five hits and two walks while striking out nine batters, including Matt Kemp three times, Adrian Gonzalez and Dee Gordon twice each. The others to shut out in this rivalry are Aaron Sele in 2002 and Hyun-Jin Ryu last year.
Maybe the best piece of news for the Angles came from Josh Hamilton, hitting his eighth home run of the season as he capped off the win in the sixth inning. It was his third home run over the last seven games, compared to only two home runs in the previous 46 games. The Louis Vuitton Citadine Angels are second in the majors in runs, third in batting average (.264), sixth in OBP and fourth in slugging, using most of their firepower in the first inning.
Zack Greinke isn t used to having duds like this one, but he gave up four runs in the first inning as Albert Pujols and Mike Trout kicked things off with RBI-doubles, followed by a bad throw from Hanley Ramirez allowing Erick Aybar to score and finally David Freese hitting an RBI single to give the Angels a 4-0 lead that lasted them the entire game. Greinke settled down after that yet still picked up his seventh loss of the season, giving up six hits and five runs while striking out five in seven innings.
There was interesting banter between Yasiel Puig and Albert Pujols in the eighth innings, following a finger wagging from Puig at Aybar two innings earlier after Aybar thought about making a tag-up move. Pujols took advantage of Puig showing his lazy side late in the game and聽tagged up from first base. Don Mattingly is probably hoping this Louis Vuitton Delightful is a learning experience for Puig, and not just something to get angry at.
If attendance at the Promax/BDA conference is any indication, the industry recognizes the increasing importance of branding in a multichannel world.
Attendance for the PROMAX/BDA convention, which draws promotions and marketing types from across the TV business, has not returned to its halcyon days of the late 1990s--4,673 attendees in Toronto in 1998. for example--but the gathering is back on the upswing. This year鈥檚 show, which ran June 21-23 in New York, drew 3,227 attendees, up slightly from 2004 (3,025), but up dramatically from 1,850 for the 2002 event in Celine Bags Outlet Store Los Angeles. However, it is still off from numbers like 4,673 attendees in Toronto in 1998.
CEO Jim Chabin says the near-capacity crowd (the Marriott Marquis can hold 3,300) represents a diverse group, with representatives from broadcast stations, cable networks and international companies turning out.聽 This year, for the first time, the organization invited media buyers to attend for free, which Chabin says drew a promising crowd from Celine UK Online ad agencies. He says next year Promax/BDA will invite media buyers and station general managers to come at no charge.
A number of high-profile TV executives turned out to address the conference, including Disney Media Networks co-chiefs Anne Sweeney, and George Bodenheimer, NBC Universal Television Group President Jeff Zucker, ABC News Nightline anchor Ted Celine Online Outlet Koppel, and domestic diva Martha Stewart.
Chabin says the top-flight speakers and renewed attendance proves the industry鈥檚 commitment to promotion and marketing. 鈥淚t is absolutely obvious to those participating that, with so many choices and ways to get your news and entertainment, the television industry can no longer cut its way to profitability and get the returns it wants to get by cutting back on promo and marketing,鈥?he said.

The S900 s light weight is due to its sturdy carbon fiber arms and retractable landing gear, according to DJI, which has also made Louis Vuitton Tassen Kopen the actual arms Louis Vuitton able to fold in for easy transportation as well. That flight duration is based on using a 6S 12000mAh battery.

175.44.57.43: The war on invasive species in the Great Lakes

@@@
The following editorial appeared in the Chicago Tribune on Saturday, Aug. 2: Beneath the serene waters of Lake Michigan and other Great Lakes, a war rages. It pits armies of invaders bent on establishing colonies against a dwindling force of native lake dwellers. The invaders - at least 56 organisms not native to the Great Lakes - have infiltrated the lake over the decades, most of them arriving stealthily in freighter ballast tanks.. You've heard about the tenacious zebra mussel, which has cost industries on the Great Lakes billions of dollars over the past two decades to keep pipes open and water flowing through homes, businesses and power plants. You may have heard about its even more destructive cousin, the quagga mussel: It roams farther than the zebra and blankets nearly the entire lake bottom. Damage: unfathomable. And ... there are more lake pillagers likely to come. (See carp, Asian.) We mention this because we just finished an impressive series in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, "A Watershed Moment: Can We Protect The Great Lakes From A New Wave of Invasive Species?" The answer: gulp. History isn't on our side. Nor do most people Celine Bags comprehend the staggering scale of what's happening beneath the waves: "The public can comprehend the devastation of a catastrophic wildfire that torches vast stands of trees, leaves a scorched forest floor littered with wildlife carcasses and turns dancing streams into oozes of mud and ash," reporter Dan Egan writes. "But forests grow back. The quagga mussel devastation of Lake Michigan is so profound it is hard to fathom. ... The mollusks now stretch across the bottom of Lake Michigan almost from shore to shore, piling on top of one another like a gnarly, endless plate of coral, clustering at densities exceeding 35,000 per square meter. People might still think of Lake Michigan as an inland sea full of fish. It's now more accurate to think of it as an exotic mussel farm." So what? Here's what: "We wear shoes while swimming or risk stinging, razor-sharp shell cuts. We buy exotic farm-raised tilapia instead of local fish such as chubs at our local grocery stores and restaurants. We turn up our noses and walk away from beaches fouled by rotting seaweed slicks triggered by the mussels and laced with their Buy Celine Bags carcasses - often wrongly blaming the stench on sewage spills. We don't even notice the hundreds of millions of extra dollars in utility bills we've paid to keep water pumping through everything from our power plants to our faucets." The mussel colonization of Lake Michigan has opened the floodgates for another invasive species, the round goby, a prodigious consumer of mussels - it crowds out the lake trout, white fish, sturgeon, herring and perch that welcomed European explorers to Lake Michigan. One bright note: There hasn't been another invasive species found in the Great Lakes since 2008, when a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency rule required oceangoing ships sailing into the Great Lakes to decontaminate ballast water. That's the longest lull between invasive species discoveries since the St. Lawrence Seaway opened in 1959, Egan reports. Two possible reasons: _There haven't been any new species crafty enough to evade decontamination. _Scientists Celine UK Outlet aren't looking in the right places ... or "sleeper colonies" are skulking around the lake just waiting to be discovered when their numbers grow large enough to be readily detected. Gulp again. There's a rogues' gallery of potential invaders on the government's watch list. Those include the notorious Dikerogammarus villosus, aka the "killer shrimp." Don't laugh. The shrimp "makes a mess of ecosystems it invades by destroying native species with its vise-like jaws and then leaving them for dead, often without even swallowing a bite," Egan writes. Defending Lake Michigan against hordes of aquatic raiders is a grinding, long-term fight that requires constant vigilance. Not every invader harms the ecosystem. But this region's most precious commodity, sloshing just outside your window, needs to be protected and safeguarded - from pollution, yes, but also from alien invaders.

ABUJA, Nigeria Nigerian authorities on Monday confirmed a second case of Ebola in Africa's most populous country, Louis Vuitton Totally an alarming setback as officials across the region battle to stop the spread of a disease that has killed more than 700 people. Also Monday, health authorities in Liberia ordered that all those who die from Ebola be cremated after communities opposed having the bodies buried nearby. Over the weekend, health authorities in the West African country encountered resistance while trying to bury 22 bodies in Johnsonville, outside the capital Monrovia. Military police helped restore order. In Nigeria, Health Minister Onyebuchi Chukwu said test samples are pending for three other people who had shown symptoms of Ebola, and that authorities are trying to trace and quarantine others. The confirmed second case in Nigeria is a doctor who had helped treat Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian-American man who died July 25 days after arriving in Nigeria from Liberia."Three others who participated in that treatment who are currently symptomatic have had their Louis Vuitton W samples taken and hopefully by the end of today we should have the results of their own test," Chukwu said. The emergence of a second case raises serious concerns about the infection control practices in Nigeria, and also raise the specter that more cases could emerge. It can take up to 21 days after exposure to the virus for symptoms to appear. They include fever, sore throat, muscle pains and headaches. Often nausea, vomiting and diarrhea follow, along with severe internal and external bleeding in advanced stages of the disease.Doctors and other health workers on the front lines of the Ebola crisis have been among the most vulnerable to infection as they are in direct physical contact with patients. The disease is not airborne, and only transmitted through contact with bodily fluids such as saliva, blood, vomit, sweat or feces.Sawyer, who was traveling to Nigeria on business, became ill while aboard a flight and Nigerian authorities immediately took him into isolation upon arrival in Lagos. They did not quarantine his fellow passengers, and have insisted that the risk of additional cases was minimal.Nigerian authorities said a total of 70 people are under surveillance and that they hoped to have eight people in quarantine by the end of Monday in an isolation ward in Lagos. The emergence there is particularly worrisome because Lagos is the largest city in Africa with some 21 million people.Health officials rely on "contact tracing" locating anyone who may have been exposed, and then anyone who may have come into contact with that person. That may prove impossible, given that Sawyer's fellow passengers journeyed on to dozens of other cities and the health Louis Vuitton Wilshire workers who treated them may have exposed family members.Nigeria is the fourth country to report Ebola cases and at least 728 other people have died in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
Twitter wasn t his only connection to the web, however, as he also launched a website. It s doing somewhat well but with Twitter being his main outlet and many tech savvy visitors using Louis Vuitton ad-block, the site wasn t enough to supplement the Twitter income.
Having been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2004, Blass said he needs to better prepare himself for the future in terms of finances. An to help with mounting medical costs launched earlier today.
Blass said he almost certainly Geodkoop Louis Vuitton won t reverse his decision and return to leaking products again in the future. That s unfortunate for those in the community as his leaks had a high accuracy rate, something he credited to good sources, good colleagues to bounce ideas off of and good luck.

@@@
View gallery.Louis van Gaal says he will inform his players which of them are free to leave the club after tonight's friendly against , but I think he will have made his mind up a long time ago.The papers have been full of speculation as to which names will be Louis Vuitton Tassen Kopen for the chop, so here鈥檚 my pick of four players who need to go, and one who should have a stay of execution.NANI: OUTView gallery.I just think he is too inconsistent for a top club. He has the ability but it just appears that he doesn鈥檛 want it badly enough. He wants to do a few stepovers and a few backheels but that isn鈥檛 how you win things, is it? When he is at it he has been very pleasing on the eye but his big performances are too few and far between.I saw him come on as a sub coming on for before anyone knew him, and instantly you thought, 鈥榯his boy has got something鈥? But as you do with those types of players, you wonder if he can put it together and have a career at the top level and he has never managed to do that.It was a bit bizarre that he got a new contract last season. For starters he was never a player and I thought he had had enough time at Manchester United to prove his worth, without managing to do so. Perhaps they were protecting his value so they could sell him this year and they will get good money because there is always someone willing to try and get the best out of him.JAVIER HERNANDEZ: OUTView gallery.It鈥檚 time for him to go. In terms of being top class he falls just short. He is very enthusiastic and works very hard but he suffered last year because Manchester United didn鈥檛 create the chances that they usually do. If he plays in a team that creates chances and you get him in the box, he will always score goals. For his sake, I think he needs to find regular football. He isn鈥檛 quite what United are looking for and there is no shame in that. Louis Vuitton He will leave with the blessing of the United supporters after trying his heart out. His efforts have been fantastic. He made a big impact in his first season but he never really kicked on, and regressed if anything. He is so reliant on other players and doesn鈥檛 have enough on his own to truly be a world class player.SHINJI KAGAWA: OUTView gallery.Where do you fit him in? He is ever so talented, and did fantastically well at Borussia Dortmund, but where is his place in the side? He hasn鈥檛 taken to the tempo of the Premier League in truth and I think he is expendable because United have too many players like him, and they are better than him too.If Van Gaal is going to play one playmaker behind two strikers then it is going to be . They spent all that money on him and need to play him in his best position, and that will mean that there鈥檚 no space for Kagawa. Van Gaal knows he has better options. Some United fans feel he was never given a decent run in his favourite position, while others believe he never took the chances which came to him. I think it鈥檚 a combination of the two, but either way I would be amazed if there weren鈥檛 a queue of clubs in waiting to sign him given the impact he had with Dortmund. Given his marketability in Asia I think he is an attractive prospect and you鈥檒l get a good price, and that鈥檚 another reason they will sell him.ANDERSON: OUTView gallery. He just doesn鈥檛 get what it takes. Although he isn鈥檛 a big talker in the media, you get the impression he is the kind of player who likes to point the finger at someone else and attribute blame. Ultimately it is his career 鈥?he needs to get on with things but he hasn鈥檛 done that. There are too many other things that turn his head.I don鈥檛 think he is helping himself off the pitch. But take all that away and get down to the nub of the matter: he just doesn鈥檛 have the ability. As a No. 6 or 8 in midfield he just comes up short. There are clubs in the Premier League where he could play, but Manchester United is not one of them.I鈥檝e seen him have very good games, but he just doesn鈥檛 have the consistency or quality to deserve a place in the United squad, as Van Gaal goes about swinging the axe to perform necessary surgery on his squad.MAROUANE FELLAINI: INView gallery. He is not a popular figure amongst the United support but Fellaini has never had the luxury of playing in a United team that has been playing well or full of confidence. He got off to an awkward start when he joined them and David Moyes failed to get the best out of him, despite having done so at .Under Van Gaal, I still think there could be a role for Fellaini. He has got the kind of game that will cause even the best teams in Europe problems, if he is used in the right fashion. If United are playing 3-5-2 then he might have a chance of playing just in behind the front two. Whether he plays well or not, he will always bring you a physical presence that unsettles defenders. He is always a handful. He would be hard done by if he is culled from Old Geodkoop Louis Vuitton Trafford after only a year and he deserves another chance to impress; he鈥檒l be desperate to. The best football he has played has been in the Premier League and I think it鈥檚 the perfect environment for him: he can thrive in a long-ball system or with the ball on the deck.Sports & RecreationSoccerManchester UnitedVan Gaal

In fact, almost half of American children 46 percent have experienced an adverse situation in their childhood, .
But these experiences which are defined as things like witnessing a parent's divorce, living with someone who has a drug or alcohol problem, or struggling with the economy, according to the report aren't always a limiter of success. In some cases, people have risen above their adverse circumstances and achieved positive stability.
See also:
Here are 9 celebrities who have overcome the pain of their past:
Ashley Judd
Ashley Judd is a popular Hollywood actress who has been nominated for the Golden Globe awards in the past, but she comes from a troubled background, . She was abused by many men in her life, including a family member, ABC News reported. She had to rely on the strength of her mom to help her make it in the big time.
"When you are trying to make it in show business, everything else falls by the wayside, said Amy Palmer, a magazine editor who wrote about Judd s recent memoir All That Is Better and Sweet. She was left alone so much with her mother and sister touring the country to make it. Something suffers and it was Ashley's childhood."
Shia LaBeouf
Shia LaBeouf wasn t always the Hollywood hunk that he is now. , highlighting how the eventual Transformers actor grew up in a poverty-stricken environment where he and his family traveled and sold hot dogs to make ends meet.
After his parents divorced, LeBeouf later ended up accompanying his Dad to AA meetings, while trying to make it as a child actor, performing stand-up at local comedy clubs from the age of Celine Cabas Bags 10, The Telegraph reported.

Tyler Perry
Tyler Perry may have a slew of movies sliding into movie theaters every year, but it wasn t always that way. He suffered abuse as a child, both physical and sexual, and he never felt safe, . But his rise into stardom started with a simple concept he would think of his family.
"I could go to this park (in my mind) that my mother and my aunt had taken me to. ... I'm there in this park running and playing, and it was such a good day," Perry said to oprah.com. "So, every time somebody was doing something to me that was horrible, that was awful, I could go to this park in my mind until it was over."

Oprah Winfrey
But Oprah didn t just offer an in-depth look into Perry s life. She herself has suffered from a traumatic childhood. In an interview with David Letterman, Winfrey spoke about how she was both physically and sexually abused as a kid and that she needed to turn to a power greater than herself to persevere Celine Wallets and make it through, .

Albert Einstein
Einstein is regarded as one of the smartest men of all time, but his background isn't entirely clean, . Einstein s parents were always worried about his development. Apparently, he had developed some odd tendencies, like pronouncing words to himself silently before saying them to an audience and learning to speak more slowly than others his age.
His slow development was combined with a cheeky rebelliousness toward authority, which led one schoolmaster to send him packing and another to declare that he would never amount to much, according to Feel Guide.

Mark Wahlberg
Wahlberg s tough-guy persona commonly seen on the screen may be based off a true story. Not only was he a drug addict, but he was also physically violent to many of the people he interacted with, . But now, he wants to give the childhood he never had Celine Clasp Bags to his kids.
I think the most important thing is to always be involved in every aspect of their life, he said, according to Daily Mail. To give them enough trust that they can share things with you.

Drew Barrymore
Drew Barrymore started her career off on the right foot by being a hit actress in E.T.: The Extraterrestrial. But she struggled in her teenage years, going to night clubs and arguing with her mother, .
At 13, an enraged Barrymore became violent when she was unable to throw her mother out of the house, the biography noted.

Eminem
Few others have spoken as openly about their troubled lifestyle as Eminem. Just , or listen to his songs. He grew up in a trailer home, battled domestic violence as a youngster and in his own relationships, and felt bullied among his peers. But Eminem has risen above that and .

Allen Iverson
Allen Iverson s childhood might have been as mean as his crossover. , showing how the eventual NBA star grew up in a single-parent environment and struggled to stay away from trouble.
My mom struggled, Iverson said, according to The Post. My dad struggled. Everybody in my family struggled. It was nothing new, the lights being cut off or anything. I mean, it was something I had been dealing with my whole life."
CHICAGO/MILWAUKEE/RACINE (WITI) Two Chicago teens have been arrested in Racine on warrants that charge them with the murder of a Rogers Park photographer in July.
This, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The Tribune reports 15-year-old Denzel Burke and 17-year-old Michael Phillips are both charged in Cook County, Illinois warrants with the killing of 28-year-old Wil Lewis.
The Tribune reports 31-year-old Eric Vaughn is being held without bail in the case as prosecutors say he handed a pistol to a fellow gang member when they were driving and saw a rival gang member who was the target of the shooting.
Burke and Phillips were Louis Vuitton tassen Speedy arrested on Wednesday, July 30th in Racine.
Burke had a first-degree murder warrant issued against him, carrying a $750,000 bond, and Phillips had a no-bail first-degree murder warrant issued against him according to the Chicago Tribune.
The Tribune reports it is unclear the role these teens played in Lewis death. However, prosecutors say Vaughn, the gunman and another person were driving just before 3:30 p.m. on July 12th when the gunman saw a rival gang member and told Vaughn he wanted to shoot the rival.
The Tribune reports Vaughn took a gun out of his car s center Louis Vuitton Portemonn console, handed it to the shooter and said wet that T-shirt up meaning make the rival bleed.
