BILOXI -- Police say a Biloxi man is accused of murder after shooting a 26-year-old man multiple times at a residence in the 200 block of Dorries Street.

Biloxi Police responded to the incident Saturday, at 2:16 p.m., said Lt. Christopher De Back.
Stating this over at weekend was the Business Manager of Sagamu Unit, Mr Peter Oyelami, in a chat with the Nigerian Tribune, who lamented that the activities of vandals in some towns under the unit were alarming.

Witnesses told police that Anthony Wheaton of Biloxi and Rodise Jenkins III, 45, got into a disagreement, which resulted in the shooting. Wheaton and Jenkins were acquaintances, De Back said.

De Back said Wheaton sustained several gunshot wounds. He was transported to Biloxi Regional Hospital, and Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove pronounced him dead at 2:58 p.m.
Oyelami explained that the development had caused the company a lot in term of revenue generation, saying that the company could not generate revenue in areas where there was total darkness due to the activities of vandals.

De Back said Jenkins, a Biloxi resident, fled the scene, but witnesses provided travel directions, so Jenkins was arrested at a traffic stop on Bayview Avenue minutes after the incident.
He said: 鈥淭he cost of vandalism of IBEDC equipment is enormous. It is a very colossal loss to our company. We are losing revenue in areas where the vandals might have perpetrated their unpatriotic act, because we cannot serve our customers bills for the service (s) not provided. It is a serious issue.鈥?

Jenkins was arrested on a murder charge and was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.

De Back said Wheaton sustained several gunshot wounds.
