The mobile home, previously occupied by Hutchinson s 86-year-old mother, was damaged beyond repair in an electrical fire in March.

Since then, neighbors have complained to the town manager and code enforcement officer that the burned mobile home is dangerous and an eyesore. The complaints prompted a public hearing to see if the property was legally a nuisance property.

When Hutchinson, of 187 Morrison Hill Road, first appeared before the board on Aug. 13, he told officials that he expected to be in compliance with the board s order and didn t expect he would need to be summoned before the officials again on account of the property.

At the time, the board could have acted to have the home razed and sent Hutchinson a bill for its expenses, including the actual cost of the clean up and the cost of time spent by the town attorney on the issue.

Kaiser said he visited the site earlier this week and noted that the interior content had been disposed of and Hutchinson had the mobile home stripped down to the frame.
