As a new Maine voter, I am looking carefully at all the candidates. I met Gary Hilliard, R-Belgrade, (District 76) who is running for state representative, at a Belgrade Town Meeting. I was very impressed with the way he listened to the council. The Argentine, who arrived from Southampton in the summer, made a number of calculated transfers with Michel Vorm, Eric Dier, Federico Fazio, Ben Davies and Benjamin Stambouli arriving with very little money spent - at least, in comparison to last summer, where  splashed the cash without much on-field success.

Pochettino chose to add players to his defence rather than his attack, but the poor performances of strikers Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado means that the former Espanyol boss is already being linked with a January move to sign a centre forward, with Jackson Martinez of Porto and Sampdoria's Manolo Gabbiadini already suggested as prime targets.

However, a new name - or rather an old name - has been tipped again, with Fiorentina's . The 21-year-old Croatian was heavily linked with  last summer whilst back in his homeland with RNK Split, only for then-manager .

"Rebic? I have no idea who this player is, I'm sorry. I don't know where this news has come form, not out of disrespect to the player but he's not someone I'm looking at," said Villas-Boas in May 2013.

Rebic played for Croatia at this summer's World Cup, but his tournament didn't go to plan having been sent off against Mexico in their final group game. Even despite that, it seems that Pochettino could make a move to sign a player that one of his predecessors claimed to have never even heard of.

Hilliard is a leader who has proven himself by starting three new business that employee people of the state. And he listens to the people. I know that Gary will represent us well in Augusta.
