If there is one thing Angelo Que knows, it鈥檚 the Manila Southwoods Masters course. The 35-year-old Filipino veteran has spent a mind-boggling amount of time at the Cavite track.
In a communique issued at the end of the meeting held at the palace hall, the leaders expressed sadness over the murder of Chief Omolafe Aderiye, a prominent indigene of Ado-Ekiti, and commiserated with the deceased鈥檚 family and the people of the town.

They also registered their 鈥渟adness and unreserved condemnation of the most uncivilised methods used by the hoodlums which culminated in the killing of Chief Aderiye and perpetrating wanton destruction of lives and property in Ado-Ekiti.鈥?

For him, nothing could be sweeter than winning the Resorts World Manila Masters on this course come November 20 to 23.
The communique was signed by the Odogun of Ado, Chiefs Aladetoyinbo Obayemi; the Aro of Ado Ekiti, Awopetu Fabiyi;  the Odunro of Ado, Ola-Ojo Ogunlade  and  Secretary to Ewi-in-Council, Ogunmodimu Bayo.

That certainly was the case last year when Que grabbed a share of the second-round lead with Canada鈥檚 Richard Lee and Thailand鈥檚 Jazz Janewattananond. But a 74 on Saturday left him four back of eventual champ Liang wen-Chong of China, who memorably donated half of his winner鈥檚 check to Typhoon Yolanda relief. The document said: 鈥淚t is the strong view of the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti and Ewi-in-Council that Ado indigenes should embrace peace and in oneness fight for the stability and progress of the town instead of working towards its depletion of human and material resources and development  retrogression.鈥?
