WASHINGTON COUNTY (WITI) On Tuesday, September 2nd, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will begin a $350,000 resurfacing project of the Paradise Drive Park and Ride lot on Parkway Drive in the city of West Bend, Washington County. The lot will be completely closed beginning this day.

Teachers in the Highland School District, embroiled in tense contract negotiations with the district school board, voted this evening to reject the most recent offer and move forward with a strike.A union representative said 155 members attended a meeting to cast votes and 139 voted to decline the offer.District Superintendent Mike Sutton advises parents to expect a strike beginning Thursday. Resurface the asphalt parking lot
+
Place concrete pavement in the bus area
+
Construct a curb and gutter median to improve drainage and define parking areas
+
Improve on-site bike and pedestrian features
+
Provide motorcycle parking
+
The contractor, Vinton, plans on completing the project in late-October.

The Paradise Dr. Park and Ride will be closed for the duration of construction. WisDOT asks that motorists do not use adjacent businesses for park <a href=http://architectscanterbury.co.uk/page.php?sale=Kate-Spade-Messenger-Bag>Kate Spade London</a>  and ride services.

Motorists and transit users of the Paradise Dr. Park and Ride can utilize the Jackson Park and Ride located at County P and Apple Lane, near US 45 at Exit 63. The signed detour route from the closed Paradise Dr. Park Ride lot follows Parkway <a href=http://architectscanterbury.co.uk/page.php?sale=True-Religion-Micky>True Religion Micky</a>  Dr. northwest to Paradise Dr., west to US 45, south to WIS 60, one block east to County P and north several hundred feet to Apple Lane.
