The ink is on the lease. The launched Sept. 2. It鈥檚 official. Living Room, a coffee house, bakery and caf茅, will open on Sutton Avenue in Maplewood late fall at the space formerly occupied by the Black Cat Theater. The coffeehouse, on by Sauce, is a project Gucci Outlet of Bridges Community Support Services, which offers support services to men and women with cognitive and physical disabilities. Arthouse Coffees, a micro-roaster currently selling its coffees at the Schlafly Farmers Market聽in Maplewood, will partner with the caf茅.Barry Larson, who founded Bridges in 1984, turned his passion for well-roasted coffee beans and superlative coffee into Arthouse Coffees five years ago. Opening Living Room marks the next passage for Larson and his team.鈥淭he new space will give Arthouse room to roast the coffees, keep our offices upstairs and run a coffeehouse where each cup of coffee will be hand-crafted from freshly roasted beans,鈥?Larson says. 鈥淭he caf茅 will offer more employment opportunities for the people with unrecognized potential we serve each day at Bridges.鈥滻n addition to coffees and coffee drinks, the Living Room team will produce fresh baguettes each day paired with house-made compound butters, fruit and nut spreads. Cinnamon rolls, cookies and rustic baked goods round out the menu. Look for specialty items like house-made root beer and Bitt鈥檚 Cold Press Concentrate Christian Louboutin Shoes Sale sold by the bottle or by the growler when the new caf茅 opens late fall. Their hours will be聽Wednesday through Sunday, 7am to 3pm.Arthouse also makes the highly successful Bitt鈥檚 product, which is now available at Southwest Diner.鈥淲e鈥檝e been selling Bitt鈥檚 Cold Press at Southwest Diner for some time now,鈥?Larson says. 鈥淚t鈥檚 been a great collaboration for us to partner with another Maplewood business.鈥滾iving Room鈥檚 nearest neighbor, Bolyard鈥檚 Meats Provisions, is also scheduled for a fall opening, adding to the momentum generated by Christian Louboutin Shoes Sale Strange Donuts, Pie-Oh-My, Traveling Tea, Maya Caf茅 and more on the already-hot Sutton corridor. The IndieGoGo campaign will run until Oct. 2, and we鈥檒l keep you posted on opening date details, but in the meantime, you can buy Arthouse Coffee鈥檚 freshly roasted beans at local farmers markets, at Schlafly (Maplewood) Farmers Market on Wednesdays, at Webster Groves on Thursdays and at Wildwood on Saturdays. If you鈥檙e a regular market customer for Arthouse, don鈥檛 worry.鈥淲e plan to continue at the farmers markets even after the caf茅 opens; you bet,鈥?Larson says. 鈥淲e鈥檝e built a great customer base for our coffees through direct sales at the markets.鈥滾iving Room, 2808 Sutton Ave., 314.306.7626,聽Hungry for more St. Louis food-scene news? Meanwhile, in a large saute pan over medium-high, heat Christian Louboutin Shoes Sale 1 tablespoon of the oil and butter. Add the cherry tomatoes and vinegar, then stir well and simmer until the tomatoes begin to break down, about 10 minutes.

While the sauce cooks, remove the chilled beef from the freezer. Place it in a food processor, working in batches so as to avoiding overcrowding the bowl, and pulse just until well chopped, but not ground.

In a large skillet over medium-high, heat the remaining tablespoon of Christian Louboutin Shoes Sale olive oil. Add the beef and sear, stirring occasionally, just until light browned, about 5 minutes. Add the red wine to the pan to deglaze, stirring to remove any bits from the bottom. Immediately transfer the beef and any liquid in the pan to the saucepan with the tomato sauce. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve the sauce over pasta and top with Parmesan.
