Loyuk, according to the Washington State Patrol.Loyuk was southbound in his Mercedes-Benz on Aug. 24 reportedly at speeds around 100 mph when he lost control of his car, drove through a median and fence, and then crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer parked at the Maytown rest area. Officials say the single-engine Cessna 172 Skyhawk took off from South Albany Airport at 4:50 p.m. Monday and soon afterward crashed into a rail car at the nearby CSX yard just south of Albany.
