KENTWOOD, Mich. A 9-year-old boy who was repeatedly stabbed by a 12-year-old boy at a playground in western Michigan has died, police said Tuesday.Michael Conner Verkerke ran home and collapsed on the porch around 6 p.m. Monday after Louis vuitton Pas cher he was stabbed at a mobile home park in Kentwood, near Grand Rapids, according to police. He died after being rushed to a hospital.Witnesses told investigators that four children were playing when one of them pulled a knife and stabbed the boy. The motive in the attack was still being investigated, said Kentwood Police Chief Thomas Killen.Police said the older boy left the playground after the stabbing and called police from a nearby home to turn himself in.Glen Stacey, who lives nearby, told The Grand Rapids Press that the older boy approached him after the attack and asked to use his phone. He said the boy called 911 to report the attack.Stacey said he also called police and described the Sac Louis vuitton Pas cher boy as "very calm.""The only time he raised his voice was when the police came," Stacy said. When police arrived, Stacy said, they first went to aid the stabbing victim. When officers started heading toward the playground area, Louis vuitton he said the boy on Stacy's lawn wanted police to pick him up and yelled "Hello. I'm right here. You're going the wrong way."Police said the 12-year-old boy was evaluated at a hospital before being taken to the Kent County Juvenile Detention Center pending charges. Police didn't immediately release additional details about the child. An autopsy is planned by the Kent County Medical Examiner's Office. The Kent County prosecutor's office will determine whether the boy will be charged as a juvenile or an adult, Hillen said.

I say it鈥檚 the curse of the second half. In the six years that I鈥檝e been here, every time it鈥檚 the second half; we play this way until the playoffs. I don鈥檛 know why. I hope to live to see the day that we don鈥檛. I don鈥檛 know what it is. It would certainly be very convenient to explain away Atlanta's lack of fortune to a second half of the regular season curse - that way, we could just claim, "it's that time of year again".聽 But was there any way to verify Lyttle's statement?

I excluded the incomplete 2014 season and looked at the 2009 through 2013 regular seasons - the seasons that Lyttle has been a part of the Dream lineup.聽 For every team currently in the WNBA, I looked at the number of wins they had in the first half of the regular season and the number of wins they had in the second half.聽 Adding up the second Louis Vuitton Portemonn half wins over the last five years and comparing this sum to the sum of first half wins over the same time frame should give me an idea of how much the team slumps in the back half of the regular season.聽 If second half wins minus first half wins is negative, then there's evidence that the team fades as the season progresses.聽 If the number is positive, the team has been better in the second half than in the first half over the last five years.
