Seemingly since the day arrived in the big leagues, the San Francisco Giants have been bombarded with questions as to when they d move him out Christian Louboutin Eugenie from behind the plate and to a less physically demanding position. And there s never been a good answer, since Posey is so valuable as a catcher.

Construction is underway on South Puget Sound Community College s new Lacey campus, an $11 million project that Lacey officials expect to be a shot in the arm for the neighborhood and possibly fill long-vacant buildings.Work began last month and the project is expected to be finished in summer 2015, college spokeswoman Kellie Purce Braseth said. The college paid $4 million for the complex of five buildings on Sixth Avenue across from the Intercity Transit station, formerly known as Rowe Six.The plan is to transform the 50,000-square-foot Building 1, which faces Sixth Avenue, into an entrepreneurial center. It will combine the college s Small Business Development Center and the Thurston County Economic Development Council in a single destination to support entrepreneurs and business start-ups.The EDC, its staff and services will move into the new building, EDC Executive Director Michael Cade said. The organization Jimmy Choo Keyring also plans to work with several community partners such as chambers of commerce, the city of Lacey, The Evergreen State College and Saint Martin s University, Joint Base Lewis-McChord and Enterprise for Equity. But Building 1 also will be home to corporate and continuing education staff and classes, as well as other classrooms, computer labs and student services, Purce Braseth said. The college also will occupy Buildings 2 and 3. Building No. 3 will be home to an advanced manufacturing program. Meanwhile, Buildings 4 and 5 likely will be demolished to make way for either parking or a new building, she said.In all, about 11,000 people will use the campus. The estimate combines students taking credit classes and others, such as state workers, participating in training.City officials hope that influx of people will inject some life into the Woodland District and Tory Burch Rain Boots On Sale specifically, Woodland Square Loop. Woodland Square Loop surrounds Huntamer Park, and many nearby office buildings have significant vacancies, the result of the recession and downsizing. Several of those buildings have a new owner: MJR Development of Kirkland. The city of Lacey also recently announced a plan to sublease from the college about 1,000 square feet in Building 2 to create a military service Girl True Religion Jeans center. The city has a memorandum of understanding with veterans centers in Tacoma and Federal Way to provide services in Lacey, with an emphasis on behavioral health. The center is expected to open in October.Meanwhile, SPSCC s existing Lacey campus is on Hawks Prairie between Marvin Road and Galaxy Drive. The college has leased the space since 1995, but in 2005 it purchased property off Marvin Road and set out to build a new campus. Since then, economic changes have taken the college in a new direction. The Marvin Road property, for which the college paid $6.2 million, is for sale, Purce Braseth said.

But the calls to switch Posey s position will only get louder this offseason. Not only is Posey showing that he s a better hitter when he s not wearing the catching gear on a daily basis, but the Giants may finally have a viable replacement for him: .
+
+
As a catcher this year, Posey is hitting .292/.342/.477, a very respectable stat line that ranks him as one of the game s best behind the plate. But consider Posey s stat line as a first baseman this year: .394/.439/.586 in 30 games. For his career, Posey s batting average is 68 points higher as a first baseman, while is OPS is over 160 points higher. Those numbers are hard to ignore.
+
+
The argument against moving Posey has always been that his bat is too valuable as a catcher, and replacing him with anyone else would be an offensive downgrade. That was true when the Giants had the likes of , , and even behind him. But that doesn t appear to be the case anymore: Susac is proving he can hit at the major league level, and hit well. He s managed a .286/.322/.536 line in 22 games this year and has shown good power as well. He s not a finished product defensively, but he certainly hasn t embarrassed himself behind the plate. He s a legitimate every day catcher and shouldn t be on the bench next year.
+
+
So what should the Giants do? Moving Posey to first base would complicate things with , who seemed to be coming into his own in 2014 before injuries and bad luck derailed him. The Giants could try moving Belt to left field, where they ll have an opening if doesn t re-sign, but it d be asking a lot of Belt to learn a new position next spring while still expecting him to be consistent at the plate. They could try the radical idea of moving Tory Burch On Sale Posey to left field, which may not be as crazy as it sounds considering how athletic Posey is; granted he isn t very fast, but it s not like the Giants have had swift left fielders over the past few years.
+
+
The Giants could also find themselves with a few intriguing trade chips this offseason, namely Belt and Sanchez. If they re set on moving Posey to first and don t want to try Belt in the outfield, Belt would likely fetch a useful player or two on the market should the Giants go that way. The downside is they d be selling low, and it s hard to give up on a player who s shown the kind of flashes that Belt has. As for Sanchez, there s always a need for quality catchers in the majors. Sanchez would likely start for more than a few teams and could also get the Giants something useful in return.

It s becoming increasingly clear that the Giants will have a better lineup next year if both Posey and Susac are in it every day. For now, how that happens is anyone s Gucci Tote guess.
