The back injury that derailed former world No. 1 Tiger Woods at the 2014 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational could keep him out through the PGA Championship, but there s no certainty with respect to his status for the fourth major of the year, .聽

His agent spoke to the website and gave a small amount of insight as to Woods status:聽

−
Gucci Outlet Uk Way too early. He has to rest and get treatment and then assess later, he wrote. Pointless to make that decision now without proper time to give him best chance. Nothing further today, maybe <not> even tomorrow.

The door s open for a bid to win his 15th major this week at the PGA, but it doesn t look promising considering the nature of the injury and considering that he s just nine rounds removed from surgery to repair a herniated disk.聽

−
Woods first felt discomfort after a difficult bunker shot sent him down the slope at an angle and caused him to land awkwardly. It was at that point he tweaked something in his lower back, causing the entire area severe pain.聽
+
−
It was noticeable, too. Even one of his fiercest rivals, fellow Southern California native Phil Mickelson sympathized with Woods after seeing him from the 11th fairway.聽

−
It didn t look good, said Mickelson.聽 It looked like he was really in Kate Spade Shoes Discount pain. I hope he s OK. I mean, I hope he s able to play next week. I hope it s a muscle and nothing serious because I m really looking forward to playing with him.
+
−
As much as I love playing with him, playing against him, trying to beat him, we all want him in the field. We all want him back. I just hope he s OK.
+
−
Mickelson s sentiment echoes that of the PGA TOUR and golf as a whole. The game is better with Woods playing in Tory Burch Cuff Bracelet every tournament that matters, even more so if he s winning. So far, he s hasn t been able to stay on the course or in the final pairing on Sundays, and that s troublesome.聽
+
−
It means a cloudy future for golf and one of the game s greatest legends. Tiger in his top form was something to behold.聽
+
−
Now more than ever, it s a wonder if the sports world will ever have a chance to see that again.聽
