Alameda 鈥?Since joining the Oakland Raiders, has looked cool as a in practices. Whether it be sideline drills, seven v. sevens, or simulated pass rush situations, Schaub has put the ball in precise, mid-stride locations very hard to replicate by the other quarterbacks.

On Sunday the team suited up in shorts, and Schaub stained a pair.
+
−
Things seemed a little off when Schaub nearly overthrew a receiver on a come-back route early after stretches. Then in a scrimmage featuring the secondary, the 10-year NFL veteran lobbed a ball which was tipped by and intercepted by TJ Carrie.

Schaub settled in a groove until the last Michael Kors Discount scrimmage, when a throw was batted at the line and another pick went straight into the chest of . Two snaps later, Schaub was nearly intercepted on a curl route by .

and had no turnovers (Derek Carr sat with a concussion), which further accentuated Schaub鈥檚 erratic showing.

Head coach Dennis Allen emphasized there鈥檚 no need to panic.

鈥淚 thought Matt was fine, Cheap True Religion Jeans there鈥檚 still some things that we鈥檙e trying to work on in the passing game,鈥?Allen told Sports Out West. 鈥淭here were some really good plays, and then there were some plays that weren鈥檛 quite as good. So we鈥檙e going to continue to work, and we鈥檙e going to continue to get better.鈥?

鈥淢att Schaub is our starting quarterback. I think he鈥檚 doing a good job for us and I think he will do a good job for us.鈥?

−
Schaub is coming off a preseason game versus the Detroit Lions where he completed 8 of 13 throws for 87 yards, an interception and a 49.2 quarterback rating. The week prior versus the Minnesota Vikings, the two-time Pro Bowler went 3 of 7 for Ladies Gucci Watch 21 yards and a 50.3 passer rating.

−
With so many new faces on the offense, and Oakland being his first change of scenery since 2007, it鈥檚 understandable and expected for Schaub, who tore ligaments in his in 2013, to initially struggle. But if underwhelming game days and mediocre practice showings occur more often, the Raiders may choose to reel in the leash.
