Seven months after he should have been in prison, Ray Rice was released by the Baltimore Ravens and suspended indefinitely by the NFL.
RENTON by a hit-and-run driver Sunday has died, Renton Police said.

Why did it take so long before the correct action was taken? Because a videotape emerged on TMZ Monday morning that showed Rice punching his fianc茅e (now wife) true religion outlet in the face on an elevator at an Atlantic City casino.聽 There was no more spin or denial or misdirecting to do.
Around 5:40 p.m. Sunday, police received calls of a hit-and-run in the 4200 block of NE 1st Place in Renton, police said. Police found a 17-year-old boy critically injured at the scene. He was taken to Cheap Christian Louboutin Shoes Harborview Medical Center where he later died. He was identified as Andrew Finnell.

It鈥檚 a good thing that Rice is gone. But why did it take a videotape of what we already knew happened in the elevator for the appropriate action? It was shocking, horrifying to watch. But we already had all the evidence that he knocked his fianc茅e out and then dragged her down the hall.
His family issued a statement Tuesday:

And believe me, he did not look like a man hitting a woman for the first time. In addition to be removed from his workplace, he should be incarcerated and not be allowed to live with his children.聽 Men who beat women usually beat their children as well.

But he鈥檚 already been dealt with legally. Slap on the wrist in the form of a rehabilitation program that expunged the charge from his record.
Police have arrested a 16-year-old suspect in the hit-and-run, and he is being held at the King county Juvenile Detention Facility.

His case has been a failure on so many levels: the judiciary system, the Baltimore Ravens and the NFL all failed to act appropriately in this case.
The suspect聽was identified through a Christian Louboutin Heels friend of the victim, police said, who told the victim s brother. The victim s brother located a photo of the suspect on Facebook and positively identified the聽teen in the聽photo as the driver of the suspected vehicle, police said.
