The young man addressed homeless youth in America and his speech aimed to help Cyrus promote My Friend鈥檚 Place, a homeless youth shelter in Hollywood.
The end of the VMAs was dedicated to Beyonc茅, who received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. She performed a medley of songs from her latest self-titled album. To conclude her <a href=http://www.alportico.net/page.php?sale=True-Religion-Bag>True Religion Bag</a>  performance and wrap up the evening, Beyonc茅 received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for Lifetime Achievement from her own husband, Jay-Z, and their daughter, Blue Ivy.
Leah Sitz, a sophomore from Andover, hoped that Sam Smith would win the Artist to Watch award because he delivered such a strong performance during the awards show. 鈥淚t was a calm performance, and he didn鈥檛 have a lot of extra back up dancers or lights or smoke. It was just him singing.鈥?
