It s finally game week for the Oregon Ducks as the 聽FBS college football season officially started on Wednesday, August 27. The Oregon Ducks will face the South Dakota Coyotes on Saturday, August 30 in what seems to be 聽a tune-up game for the following week s opponent, Michigan State. While Oregon is the heavy favorite heading into the game, the Ducks won t Patti Wedge Tory Burch take South Dakota lightly. Expect the starters to be taken out after halftime. But as always, there will be things to note heading into the game. Things to watch out for: Oregon running back Royce Freeman will finally get his first carries as a Duck after having a great fall camp. Oregon linebackers, especially the middle linebackers, against South Dakota s running back Trevor Bouma. Bouma rushed for 781 yards and three touchdowns last season for the Coyotes. While the Ducks shouldn t have any problem stopping the run against South Dakota, Oregon s rushing defense appeared nonexistent True Religion Jeans On Sale towards the tail end last season. Young Oregon crop of receivers Devon Allen, Chance Allen, Dwayne Stanford and Darren Carrington. This will be a great glimpse of what to see from the young talented receivers for the upcoming season.聽 Other under-the-radar players that aren t being talked about. There are always a few players that pop out of nowhere, especially in early season non-conference games, that surprise a lot of pundits with their talents.聽 Quarterback Marcus Mariota becoming Oregon s all-time leader in total touchdowns and four touchdowns shy of Oregon s passing touchdown record; marks that Mens Gucci Sneakers Mariota is sure to get against South Dakota.聽 Photo: Kevin Cline/KEVC Sports The following two tabs change content below.
