McKenna Peterson  last week complaining about the lack of female athletes in Dick's Sporting Good's basketball catalog. Peterson pointed out that the only girl featured in the catalog was sitting in the stands.

Stack sent his response via Twitter to McKenna's father, Chris Peterson.

McKenna read Stack's letter over the weekend.

"I would just like to say thank you," she told ABC News.

McKenna believes gender equality is important, especially in sports, "Because I think girls should be treated just as equally as boys."
