Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, has urged voters and Deltans not to be apprehensive and pessimistic about the forthcoming local government and 2015 general elections into various offices in the state.
Uduaghan, who gave the assurance when he visited the head of Koko community, Warri North Local Government Area, Chief Victor Nana, at the weekend, explained that as part of his administration s peace and security agenda, he had put in place mechanisms aimed at forestalling violence and crisis during the polls.
According to him, aspirants of the various political parties and the communities had been adequately sensitized and enlightened to resolve all issues amicably to guarantee peace, security and safety on election days.DETAILS LATER
