@@@ In April, 16-year-old Anne Hill never came home after leaving a friend's house at about midnight. Her car was found in a park in a nearby town, leading investigators to consider it a possible abduction and not a run-away case. An apartment complex was searched by police after a warrant was issued in connection with Hill's disappearance. At that time, Raymond and Thomas were named as suspects.

The investigation was reassigned to homicide after it was discovered that foul play may have been involved. Thomas was interviewed by investigators and was arrested on Friday, and Raymond was arrested the next morning at his home, according to .

Edmond Public Schools, where Raymond and Thomas attended school, released a statement addressing the case. Raymond was currently enrolled at Santa Fe High School after spending eight months at an alternative school from October 2012 to May 2013.

Before Thomas withdrew from school in April, she attended Boulevard Academy for one year starting in August 2013.

Recovery efforts have been ramped up in the months since Hill's disappearance. The Center for Search and Investigation, a non-profit that provides resources for families of missing children, funded the draining of a pond to look for Hill's remains. Oklahoma City Police are the lead forces on the investigation, News 9 reported.
