's role gets more clarity. For those of you that are interested in any information regarding the next film by , a vital piece of back story has been hinted at by Producer . Which is interesting to say the least as I have reservations on how someone like will be able to confront and fight an Alien () which by Earth standards is almost indestructible.I think this is going to be a very hard task for to be able to translate onto screen.

However this new information may explain the playing field in terms of super powers for  played by .

If like myself all you know of  is that she is an Amazonian Goddess armed with a ......... Is it a whip of justice? I can't remember.

Well according to  Wonder Woman's original back story is described below:

"The Amazons were created by the gods using the souls of all the women murdered by men. There was, when it was all said and done, one soul remaining, the soul of the unborn daughter of the first woman to ever be murdered by a man. That woman was Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons, and she molded a figure of clay and gave to it the soul of that unborn girl. The clay was animated and became Diana, who was gifted abilities from the gods."

However her new origin will see her as the Daughter of  which ties in closely with the  introduced in 2011.

I guess we will just have to wait and see if Zack Snyder can make this all work in 2016. So until then I have embedded a video below which gives us the best look at the new film until we get an official trailer release.
