Dining deals are back for autumn.

For Oct. 15-22, about 45 restaurants from Redwood City in the north to Morgan Hill in the south are presenting special three-course prix fixe dinners.

It s a chance to revisit old favorites and check out newcomers on the culinary scene. Participating for the first time are Justin s in Santa Clara; 4290 Bistro and Bar at the Crowne Plaza in Palo Alto; Pacific Catch in Campbell and Mountain View; Agave Mexican Bistro in Mountain View; and Blue Fin Japanese Restaurant and Lounge, Nomikai Social Food + Drinkery, and McCormick Schmick s, all in San Jose. The newly opened Mixx in Mountain View is also on the list; see our blog item below about them.
