Tech blog 9to5Mac reported on Sunday that the Cupertino-based company is training its retail employees and conspiring with retailers to ensure that Apple Pay debuts without a hitch. Apple has said it will release the mobile payments service this month, and many expect the company to share聽more details at . Using near-field communication technology, Apple Pay lets users with a wave of their phones.

Apple won support for Apple Pay from the nation鈥檚 major credit card providers and banks, and documents obtained by 9to5Mac indicate that they will be intimately involved in the operation of the service. Housed in the Passbook tab聽on the iPhone, Apple Pay will show users a list of recent transactions they have made and let them聽contact their banks. What鈥檚 more, expired credit cards will be updated automatically, according to 9to5Mac.

9to5Mac also reports that all Apple Store employees will be required to take one hour of training on Apple Pay. They will be charged with promoting the service in retail stores by talking up its聽security and convenience. Other Apple employees are getting a more hands-on form of training: Apple Pay has already debuted at the Caff猫 Macs eatery on the Cupertino campus, according to 聽9to5Mac.
