Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira made a surprise visit to England to lead a coaching session on Monday.
The German international is recovering from a knee injury sustained on the previous international break in September, but showed he is looking healthy on the training pitch.
Khedira was at St George's Park, Burton, the FA's official national football centre for the development of youngsters.
It is also the base for the Nike Training Academy, 'where carefully selected young players come to work on their game in pursuit of a professional contract.'
The sportswear giant were able to pull in Khedira for the session who met the youngsters personally and led the session.
Khedira's own future is in question at Real Madrid, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season. He has been linked with a transfer to Arsenal and AC Milan, able to negotiate to sign on a free transfer in January.
