It is being suggested in Italy that Real Madrid could try and sign star by offering plus cash.

Real Madrid may have emerged as frontrunners to sign Arturo Vidal and the possible solution would also ruin and Chelsea's hopes of landing Sami Khedira.
Vidal's future remains the subject of intense speculation but there seems to be a sense that are no longer in pole position.

Arsenal and Chelsea have been closing in on Real midfielder Khedira in recent weeks and there is also interest from AC Milan, but Juventus have the trump card of owning Vidal.
TuttoJuve.com suggests that Real are willing to offer Khedira plus a sum of cash in January, allowing Juventus to reduce their asking price, which is currently set at a prohibitive 50 million or thereabouts.

This deal would upset Manchester United who still have eyes for Vidal and also deny Arsenal and Chelsea the chance to sign Khedira.

However, there will be an awful lot of potential stumbling blocks in the way of closing such an agreement out. Juventus and Real will need to agree on each other's valuations of Vidal and Khedira, the players must accept the switch and then personal terms must be agreed.

Will Real and Juventus do a Vidal deal that scuppers both Arsenal and Manchester United?
