@@@ I write in strong support of Dana Bushee s re-election to represent Waterville s Ward 6 on the City Council. I moved to Waterville last winter and have enjoyed meeting and working with Dana. She is a smart, courteous, patient, and resilient council member in the face of much political adversity.

Although a tough decision to make, implementing pay-as-you-throw in Waterville was the right decision. It has already saved the city money on trash disposal fees, increased recycling and reduced trash tonnage, freed up public works staff time, and, I believe, improved Waterville s image as a forward-thinking city.

People always talk about wanting to attract more young people to Waterville. Well, I am in my 20s, and forward-thinking policies like pay-as-you-throw and forward-thinking city councilors like Dana Bushee make me glad I chose Waterville. Dana Bushee has my vote in November.
