@@@ Taylor Swift fans already know that she loves her cats. John Cleese, however, does not.

Swift and Cleese made appearances on the Graham Norton Show over the weekend, somehow ending up in a simultaneous interview with the show's host. The result, perhaps not surprisingly, was nothing short of genius.

"Is it damaged?," Cleese asked at one point of Swift's cat, Olivia Benson. "That's the weirdest cat I've ever seen in my life."

The pride of Reading, though, didn't seem to be bothered much, only going so far as to shoot a nasty look Cleese's way following the comment. For what it's worth, the feeling appears to have been mutual.

"It's a monster!" Swift said when presented with a photo of Cleese's rather large cat.

Cleese then followed that segment of the interview up with a defense of cats, saying that they're the best because of their unpredictability and penchant for "cussed" (aka stubborn) behavior, just "like women." Nothing like a little casual sexism to wrap up an otherwise innocuous interview there, John.

Swift, however, doesn't seem phased by the cat (or women) hating Cleese threw her way.

"Oh, we don't want to do that," she said.
