Now Israel loved Joseph more than some of his other sons, because hed been born to him in his old age; and he built a richly ornamented robe for him. When his friends saw that their father loved him more than some of them, they hated him and couldnt speak a kind word to him. Genesis 37:3-4 Of the the bible people I have arrive at love--- one remarkable man would have to become the first in-line. His life was very interesting and continues to provide important lessons which can be still relevant within our present times. His name was Joseph... the favorite child of Jacob... A guy whod beautiful dreams... the object of sibling rivalry. Within the tale, Joseph was always the middle of his fathers love and attention. Edward even gave Joseph a colourful coat or clothing that came to symbolize how special h-e was in his fathers eyes. Later on, hed purchase his fathers foolish actions. Josephs friends resented him because h-e was the favourite son. Jacob, the daddy, had two wives, two concubines, and twelve sons --- all competing for his interest. Josephs family drama have all of the ingredients of the t.v soap opera...with different episodes of jealousy, violence, deception and self-interest. Reading the account of Josephs life is like being stuck to the t.v screen filled with anticipation about what will happen next. Visit Dr Joseph Ajaka to explore the reason for this thing. Joseph, the dreamer, once told his brothers a couple of desire a day would come when they would all bow down to him. This dream made his brothers grow more angry towards him. Joseph was sent by his father o-n an errand, one day. Especially, Joseph was tasked to see his friends have been working in the field. Some reports say that his friends plotted to destroy him but later decided to throw Joseph in to a pit. Josephs brothers also got his decorative coat and wiped it with animal blood. They later lied to their father by declaring that Joseph died after being attacked by wild animals. As time passes at the bottom of the pit, Joseph was acquired by traveling retailers and later sold him in to slavery. The young lad was later sold by the retailers to Potiphar, one of the Egyptian Pharaohs respected leaders. As a worker in Potiphars household, he became famous in his labors. H-e was later appointed manager over Potiphars house. The story takes a serious turn when Potiphars spouse falsely accused Joseph of attempting to sexually assault her. Of-course, Potiphars wife did this to return at Joseph who frequently warded off her sexual advances. Angered by the accusation, Potiphar sent Joseph to prison. In jail, Joseph again found favor by being able understand the dreams of the Pharaoh. The Pharaoh was so high in anxiety and stress about the dreams he couldnt understand and the horrible dreams hed. Through Joseph, the Pharaoh was able to understand the financial implications of his dreams for your land of Egypt. Later, he was appointed governor of Egypt. The famine that struck the land where his sons and Jacob lived became exactly why these were later reunited. Reconciliation between his friends and Joseph paved the way for Jacob to again see his daughter. This remarkable story shows exactly how we, like Joseph, should cling to religion also in-the most trying conditions. Stress and anxiety do not need to stop us from believing that God has forsaken us and that weve been left alone at the center of most our troubles. Certainly, overcoming lifes difficulties is a journey of confidence, faith, and perseverance that all of us must just take. Like Joseph, we are able to live up to our fullest potential and also dream great dreams..
