Some will argue it’s a healthy debate, but the Presidents are not nominated or confirmed by any public body. Yet they routinely–and knowingly–move markets. Are they qualified? To whom are they accountable? Are they disruptive to markets? Can you imagine a CEO allowing his/her SVPs to routinely contradict him/her and confuse stockholders and markets?
