I'm 40-some thing years old, and for 40-some thing years breakfast has been a pain. Some of my earliest memories are obtaining prepared for school with my mother insisting I eat a bowl of cereal. It just by no means interested me. When high college began I was skipping breakfast and grabbing two apples on the run for lunch. All my life breakfast merely wasn't something I got interested in or believed about till I produced this discovery...

Someone introduced me to the most wonderful notion for breakfast. By now I was well entrenched in not taking time more than the 1st meal of the day (and sometimes the second meal), so something that captured my consideration was going to have to be rapidly, no fuss and delicious to warrant any of my consideration.

Instead of cardboard cereal and bland milk, it is attainable to commence the day with power packed, nutritious, energizing and best of all, yummy smoothies. Smoothies have been around for ages, but I had never ever twigged they make a great start to the day. Picture the delight of choosing from a variety such as Chocolate Strawberry, Hazelnut Coffee, Peach Almond, Banana Bread & Apple Pie Surprise. Kid you not! You can make an endless assortment to suit your own taste. Now this was exciting to me.

Not only did I start off frequently consuming breakfast, my energy shot via the roof! This changed my entire viewpoint on getting 40-something. A period where I believed as a mother, wife, and corporate executive I was supposed to be tired all the time. Not accurate.

Here is one particular of my favourite recipes.

Strawberry Parfait

3 tablespoons vanilla flavored soy/whey protein powder

250g (6oz) strawberry flavoured fat totally free yoghurt

1 cup strawberries

4 ice cubes
