Austria simply cant be beat as it pertains to beauty. Youve seen the nation in the Sound of Music, but the cities of Vienna, Salzburg and the alpine area of Halstatt are just as nice.

Vienna

Vienna is really a area with a ridiculous number of history. The home of the waltz, Habsburg Palaces and an unrivaled musical past. Walk for a morning through the cobblestone streets in the center area and you can almost hear a popular composer at the office. In reality, most of the walking areas are covered with small orchestral outfits playing their way through the evening. Elbowing in on the act, needless to say, are those special artist who clothe themselves in an interval piece and then remain in a single place for what seems time eternal. Buddhist monks would be jealous if they believed in jealousy.

The sole downside to Vienna is the cost. It is very expensive. If you are likely to invest some time in the city, get ready to fund the opportunity.

Salzburg

Salzburg is certainly one of my personal favorite towns and I always attempt to hit it when I am traveling through Europe. The real home of Mozart, Salzburg is Vienna without less of the hustle and bustle. A walk through the shopping district will leave you breathless and, often, broke, but it is just a beneficial move. Salzburg is a area where you can drink bear with monks, consume an opera or simply walk through superb rose gardens. Unfortunately, it gives Vienna a function for its money when it comes to being expensive. Yes, pun intended.

Halstatt

Halstatt may be the little village in the Alps that sets the Sound of Music to waste. Based roughly one hour outside of Salzburg, the best way to attain it is by practice. The train moves well up in to the Alps and drops you down by the side of a pond. You plop down in a little hut and wait for the ferry from Halstatt to seem. The ferry then halls you across the sea to a Alpine area without any cars Halstatt. It is like going in to the past. People are friendly, rates are fair and love is on the hoof. Swans swim along the outdoor cafes covering the river and, well, it is very dang good. If you are buying a little romance, Halstatt is certainly worth your consideration.

For all travelers, Austria gets scratched off the must visit record since it is indeed high priced. However, you should attempt to see it one or more times in your life to ingest the splendor. garmin nuvi 2555lmt
