I'm not sure how many people have observed and on occasion even care, but there seems to have been another site position upgrade from Google. This update is extremely odd however and things are happening that are a great deal different from anything I have ever seen before.

I first observed a big difference when I went and looked over one of my websites which is only three days old. The site in question had previously had no page ranking due to being a really new site and in these three months since its release, I had probably obtained twenty o-r thirty one-way backward links pointing to it. To my surprise it was now showing being a pr five.

I've quite a few web sites certainly one of which is around five-years old, it has over four thousand backward links and is just a pr four. After seeing my new site go right in at page rank five, I quickly went to observe this site had faired in this new update, it had not changed.

After checking all of my sites, I have realised that the sites which had a rank have all remained the same, however the people which had previously a rank of zero, now have a rank and have apparently been part of the brand new upgrade.

A few hours later I was considering one of my other sites which has a website pr of two. That is where things began to turn into a bit bizarre. I realized that its external pages had now turn into a pr four nevertheless the homepage was still just a PR2. What's all that about? The backward links are primarily going to the website so just how can this page have a PR than the pages?

I thought I knew a bit about pr but it's cast me some what.

I then started to consider the various posts in different se forums and other people were writing they've experienced exactly like what I had using their websites.

It maybe needless to say that what we're seeing is merely the beginning of a huge page ranking update, which is what I'm expecting. What I also find quite strange is that there's normally quite a sizable break between updates. An average of this is often between three and four weeks. I'm virtually sure we have only just seen a page position update in the middle of February, if my memory serves me correct. Are we now likely to see more regular improvements?

I've seen as I'm sure you've, that there have been a changes at google in the last few weeks. They have been rolling out what they call bigdaddy and this could certainly have something to do with it.

I am likely to watch on further changes as some individuals that I read about in the boards, did state that they had seen their newer sites in addition to updates to their older websites. I'm still waiting and wondering if it'll happen.

I've to mention that therefore much this latest upgrade is a huge good one for myself and I will keep on in my mission to obtain as many quality one-way backward links pointing to my websites as you can.

This kind of web site advertising did for me before and I think is definitely better than joining any link trade program.
