His initiative in developing bepop made his songs top all the music charts during the 1950s and 1960s. He died in the early age of thirty-five.

best saxophone players - Born on 23rd September 1926 in Hamlet, John Coltrane stands second out there. He joined the Navy in 1945. He served there just for a year where there after started his saxophone practice. His composition had the spiritual affect which made him quite famous throughout the period from 1955 to 1967. He finally fell for liver cancer.

jazz saxophone players - The third in the list is Stan Getz. He came to be on 2nd February 1927 in Philadelphia. His actual name is Stanley Gayetzky.
