When i apply various strategies to travel traffic to my blog I will see that there are huge differences between Quality traffic focused vs . Quantity traffic huge numbers but might not be specific. Depending on the purpose of your blog much more the other will be more useful for you actually.

Quantity traffic:

Many of the site visitors strategies I see being discussed in articles blogs in addition to forums are geared to crank out quantity traffic. That is generating massive spike of traffic to a site or a blog. This can results in a huge jump inside visitors and your blog position will suddenly jump.
