The diet that worked for me

I've had a lot of dilemmas and problems with my weight. It has had an important influence on my life, my confidence was knocked by it and I had an at all times low self-esteem.

A couple of years back I decided to do something positive about it, to try to lose some of my excess fat. I had heard of numerous types of diet the majority of which I felt weren't ideal for me and even sounded horrible.

I chosen self-help, carrying it out my way. I knew that exercise would have to be considered a factor, however wasn't prepared to join a fitness center. Gyms look high in people that are already thin! I started to go far more instead of driving every-where, and started to play football again, despite the fact that I must acknowledge am pretty rubbish it. I am nearly the most athletic person and this essentially was all the exercise I did.

The primary reason I was over weight was because of my poor diet. I prefer to eat the kinds of food you're told to not. I love pizzas, a, chips, nuts and particularly alcohol. Most people I knew would tell me to cut fully out all of these from my diet completely- get real! Sorry, thats difficult, I enjoy them an excessive amount of.

I thought about what direction to go and decided that I'd start to take note of every thing I ate. I'd eat a healthy breakfast and then would do not eat until lunch. I am somebody who likes to snack, eating chocolate and crisps specially. I knew that to not eat anything until lunch will be difficult but I had an idea. When I felt hungry or a desire for food a polo mint would be eaten by me or if in the home would clean my teeth. Sounds crazy nonetheless it worked for me! I would also maybe not eat between lunch and my evening meal. The evening meal would include anything I desired including chips and would be my biggest meal of the afternoon. On the week-end I'd always treat myself to a takeaway and would permit some alcohol to myself.

This type of diet requires a lot of character and discipline, however you do not want to do that much exercise or cut any type of food from your diet.
