Many Runescape fan websites (like Tip.it, Sal's, RSBandB, RuneAddict etc.) provide blogging features for their people and, obviously, you will find blogger.com and wordpress.com programs. So, yes, there are thousands, perhaps even a large number of Runescape websites today. But what're they? What is their audience? Just how much of good use and interesting information is it possible to found there?

Runescape Blogs, huh?

Many Runescape lover internet sites (like Tip.it, Sal's, RSBandB, RuneAddict etc.) give blogging capabilities with their people and, needless to say, there are blogger.com and wordpress.com tools. Therefore, yes, there are thousands, perhaps even a large number of Runescape websites today. But what're they? What is their audience? How much of use and interesting information can you found there?

Little Let us face it, majority of so called Runescape Blogs are basic skilling schedules, which are of interest only to their authors and a couple of close friends. Usually what you should find there are skilling screenshots, revisions on objectives, stories of activities and some time descriptions of specific skilling practices. There are also websites of pkers, and their audience is also limited (in this instance to a particular pking family or community). You can find websites which shadow Runescape events and updates part or shadow a particular lover site by writing courses and articles. Nothing really new can there be. Ultimately, there are blogs that began as Runescape blogs but ended up being just 'blogs', you realize, diaries for private records whit scarcely any such thing about Runescape. These blogs may be interesting, however, not about Runescape. Is that most?

No. Fortuitously, no.

There are a few writers out there who enjoy trading careful and analytic opinions about Runescape, changes in the game, skills, activities, improvements and so forth. Sometime the posts are mixed up with day to day skilling posts, but it is OK (we are all players after all). It is always a joy to discover a good Runescape analytic post and get into a mature conversation. Also a fascinating phenomena is that discussions in such blogs are a whole lot more mature comparing to similar discussions on fan site and boards. It is always a pain to record through numerous pages on a community subject simply to find one or two coherent threads, while inside a weblog every opinion can be quite a well thought through response. Audience is also appears to be a bit (or rather a lot more) older.

But how will you find such websites? You will find therefore many out there... In order to find these rare gems have you got to read all of them?

Now, this is where Runescape Reader's Eat up Weblog ( concerns play. The blog's purpose is always to give everyday links to interesting and analytic articles and threads from other Runescape sites, boards and sites. Every item featured in your blog is some thing worth reading! No pre-justice and no trash. I'd encourage one to check it out. Read, opinion and, who knows, it could become you stepping stone to the true Runescape blogosphere!

Also, if know a great Runescape weblog or article or a community discussion thread, that you think should be highlighted in the Runescape Reader's Digest, by all means, please, I would like to know! Keep an url to your own personal hit, and Ill start checking it as well, so one day you may see your article connected through the Runescape Readers Digest. Enjoy and have fan!

Certainly yours!
