Car dealers are not specially well liked, and knowing as many of them as I do, I can understand why that might be the case. I run an import shop in Florida that specializes in late type luxury imports. I have held it's place in business for quite some time, and I have heard lots of horror stories from clients regarding other dealers. For me, I do believe nearly all car dealers one may encounter are reliable, by and large. I say "by and large" because some traders I know use nickel and dime methods to increase their profits, which I disagree with. Personally, I would rather give an excellent auto to the customer at a good price and therefore achieve a very long time customer, but that is a subject for another post.

One of the more recent horror stories I heard included somebody who had bought an automobile that has been leaking gas. For anyone of you that know anything about cars, you know that this is nothing to be studied lightly. The client was assured by the dealer this older, however low distance car or truck was in excellent condition. Here's where it gets interesting... Before the sale, the client asked if she might have the automobile inspected by her mechanic. The dealership did every thing they possibly can to help keep that from happening, and succeeded. They told her that they would have their very own aspects do a "twenty position inspection" which would save her the expense and time of having her mechanic take a peek. Unbelievable! where there were already several oil locations since the client parked her car on a busy road, she never noticed the leaking until after her amazingly quick thirty day warranty was up.

Her mechanic would have discovered a gas leak when he had the car up on the tray. As as this story is disheartening, there's an invaluable lesson to be discovered here. Car customers, until they're dealing with a dealer they are familiar with and whom they trust, should seriously consider having a mechanic check out any used car they're enthusiastic about (preferably the local qualified manufacturer dealer of the automobile make they're considering). I have had many very first time customers ask me should they could have the vehicle independently examined and I am always pleased to oblige. Just take my word because of it, the only dealers who'd frown upon separate assessments are those who have something to full cover up. used cars las vegas
