Proof Evident is a recently introduced crime fiction novel by attorney and controversial psychiatrist, John Dicke. The story line is situated around a criminal case for Judge Avery Jackson who coldly murdered Sheriff Hardacre throughout his speech to 150 city officials. The problem is, Mr. Jackson doesn't have memory of the event at all

Jack Maine leaves the general public service and starts up an exclusive practice with the help of his talented wife while accepting this hard and seemingly bound case. His devoted and patient staff features a master detective and a phenomenal young beginner attorney both of whom are fully aware they may not visit a income for many time. Jacks enemy could be the well-financed and quick-witted defense team light emitting diode by an ambitious attorney that's set on getting "seen." Death uses this case everywhere. Just if the attorneys feel they're getting someplace - people start dropping like flies. Quickly a CIA scandal is unearthed that threatens national security, which powerful folks are anxious to cover-up; meanwhile a ring threatens to take control of all facets of the community.

John Dicke addresses the issue of pleading Not Liable By Reason of Insanity, which is a much bigger issue than I'd previously recognized. Even mentioning the plea will turn off a jury, who are hardened by the judgment that the plea is over and over repeatedly used to falsely obtain sympathy, and consequently, get a lighter sentence for a crime they're guilty of doing.

John also shows the intense pressure of a stressful case, which can be exhilarating to interested lawyers bored with the mundane court activities, and the temptations that might destroy those that have significantly more need than sense. Mr. Dicke uses aspects of actual life, historical events including the government scandal.

It is my estimation that Proof Evident is courtroom drama is favored by a book for deep-thinking individuals who - since there is lots of it. I found myself wanting to skip through these areas, but had I done so the ending might have left me perplexed and surprised. I liked the conclusion and was surprised by way of a few characters as well. Over all, I do believe John Dicke has established an interesting story that deserves to be given the opportunity by readers of the genre.
