The diet that worked for me

I have had plenty of dilemmas and problems with my weight. It has had a major effect on my life, it pulled my confidence and I'd an all round low self-esteem.

A couple of years back I made a decision to do something about it, to try to lose some of my excess fat. I'd heard about many different forms of diet most of which I thought weren't suitable for me and also seemed horrible.

I chosen self-help, carrying it out my way. I knew that exercise will have to be considered a factor, however was not prepared to join a gymnasium. Gyms look high in people who are already thin! I started to go far more in place of driving everywhere, and started to play golf again, despite the fact that I must acknowledge am very waste it. I am not exactly the most athletic person and this generally was all of the exercise I did.

The primary reason I was heavy was due to my poor diet. I like to eat the forms of food you are told to not. I love pizzas, a, chips, nuts and especially alcohol. A lot of people I knew would tell me to cut right out all of these from my diet completely- get real! Sorry, thats difficult, I like them too much.

I thought about how to proceed and decided that I'd begin to jot down every thing I ate. I'd eat a healthier morning meal and then would do not eat until lunch. I am a person who loves to snack, eating crisps and chocolate specially. I knew that never to eat anything until lunch will be difficult but I had an idea. Whenever I felt hungry or a desire for food I'd eat a mint or if at home would clean my teeth. Sounds crazy but it worked for me! I would also maybe not eat between lunch and my evening meal. The night meal would be my biggest meal of the afternoon and would include something I desired including chips. I would often treat myself to a downside and would permit some alcohol to myself on the week-end.

This type of diet requires a large amount of character and discipline, however, you don't need to do that much exercise or cut any type of food from your own diet.
