What is Lichen Sclerosus?

Lichen Sclerosus can be a chronic inflammatory disorder of your skin usually concerning the genital and anal areas. The condition is most prevalent in women, especially post-menopausal women, followed by men, and barely children. Along with unbearable itching similar to a chronic candida albicans, the illness may cause scarring of the vaginal tissues and consequently, narrows the vagina, which ends up in painful intercourse. Many women lose their wish to have intercourse for concern with the pain. Less commonly, extra-genital Lichen Sclerosus appears on the chest muscles, breasts, and upper arms. Lichens Sclerosus isn't contagious.

Many doctors are not familiar with Lichen Sclerosus and aren't in a position to diagnose the disease correctly. Many patients are made to see numerous doctors before an accurate diagnosis is manufactured. Lichen Sclerosus, much like a great many other chronic skin diseases, has received limited effective medical treatments. Generally, doctors advise a strong corticosticosteroid ointment or cream, to provide temporary relief with the itching and discomfort.

The Stem Cell Lift® Procedure

The Stem Cell Lift® is really a noninvasive procedure performed under local anesthesia. To ease anxiety and for patient comfort, oral sedative and/or intramuscular injections are generally administered. The process is completed in three stages. First, the region where you wish body fat to become obtained from is marked and tumescent local anesthesia is slowly injected using a blunt instrument. After having a short wait to allow for the anesthetic medication to operate, the fat is taken away under local anesthesia using a mini-liposuction method through engineered instruments. Second, the obtained fat is processed to concentrate the stem cells and improve their ratio for the fat cells being prepared for injection. Third, local anesthesia is administered and the super-charged adult stem cells from your own body's fat along with some fat cells are injected. A bandage is put around the area in which the fat was taken. The complete procedure is done all inside the 24 hour in about 4 hours. People are capable of walk and resume normal daily activities right away following the Stem Cell Lift® procedure.
