Ive perhaps not been on line considerably but and Things have been busy for me, I did have one question for you. Maybe you have done any research about the foundation of the collar and it is original use? Also, Ive heard it found in various ways, like, leash getting connected to one band or both rings? Which information are you aware about and what approach do you use? I am always open to learning true data. Thanks for your time, Jag Expensive Jag: I actually do not know the history of the pinch collar. Its a great question. If I learn anything about it, I will write about it here, in my e-zine. Dig up additional resources about webaddress by browsing our engaging URL. In terms of applying one ring the D-ring or two the safety ring and the D-ring... Generally speaking, I just connect the leash to the D-ring. This is one way the collar is designed to be used. It is possible to, nevertheless, hook the lead to both bands. This may damper the modification. You may use the touch collar in this manner if youve a very sensitive and painful dog or if you are training a workouts where--for some reason--the dog is self-correcting, accidentally. For example, when teaching the dog control in safety work, we make an effort to communicate to the dog that he should just lunge if the attack command is given, first. If the dog lunges ahead of the attack command is given, he then is corrected. But, in such a situation, we want to error on the side of under-correcting your dog, rather than have him think that he should NEVER lunge by inadvertently over-correcting. Make sense? That is all for the time being, folks! Adam.
