A scrapbook of a wedding is various than a photo album of a wedding. I believe a photo album is to showcase the pictures taken at the wedding. I believe a scrapbook of the wedding is to share the story of the days/years leading up to the wedding and then share photographs of the event itself.
The following recommendations are just that, ideas. There is no proper or wrong in making a scrapbook. It is my purpose to offer some thought starters to producing a wedding scrapbook.
Think about starting with a couple of pictures of both the bride and the groom as youngsters. Add a handful of photographs of them as teens and then some pictures of the couple during the dating method.
In the course of the preparing stages, usually banquet rooms are looked at, dresses and tuxedos are looked at, and invitations are looked at. Taking a handful of photos of the a variety of arranging days are great additions to the scrapbook. If the bridal shop will enable it, it can be fun to take pictures of the bride in every dress she tries on.
When you make a decision on a banquet space, take a few photos of the room empty. Take a handful of photographs of the constructing housing the banquet space.
After a menu is decided on, save a copy of the menu supplied by the banquet space. 1 occasion I helped with, we truly created the menu ourselves. We wanted guests to know what was getting served that night and so we incorporated our self produced menu in the scrapbook.
Youll also want to save one copy of all of the following:
An invitation
An R.S.V.P. card
A spot card
A thank you note
A copy of the guest list
If you order candy bar wrappers, or any other wedding favor, save 1 for your scrapbook. If you use a D.J. or a band, save 1 of their business cards, or a single of their brochures, to incorporate in your scrapbook. If you employ any other type of entertainer, once more, save a company card or brochure.
As you strategy your wedding, it can be exciting to journal the days. There will constantly be mishaps along the way and as you are celebrating your very first anniversary, you will laugh more than the mishaps and the other notes you took as you planned.
When the R.S.V.P. cards come in, often occasions people will create private messages. Save those. Just like a high college yearbook, its exciting to go back and read what other people wrote, a number of years later.
