Lichen sclerosis - Revolutionary advancements in stem cell therapy are transforming the technique of medicine and providing an array of new, effective and safe treatments for many disease conditions, for example Lichen Sclerosus. This new field of drugs is being termed Regenerative Medicine; because it utilizes the natural regenerative and reparative powers of stem cells to focus on tissues and restore these to health. During the last decade, I have innovated The Stem Cell Lift®, an operation that harnesses the power of your personal body’s stem cells to be used in reconstructive and cosmetic purposes. Today, we have seen remarkable results with the Stem Cell Lift® process of reconstruction of post-cancer scarred defects, for painful or damaged joints, ligaments and muscles, for wound healing as well as for Lichen Sclerosus.

What exactly is Lichen Sclerosus?

Lichen Sclerosus is a chronic inflammatory disorder on the skin usually involving the genital and anal areas. The condition is most prevalent in women, especially post-menopausal women, followed by men, and infrequently children. Along with unbearable itching much like a chronic yeast infection, the disease could cause scarring from the vaginal tissues and thus, narrows the vagina, which results in painful intercourse. Lots of women lose their wish to have intercourse for anxiety about the pain. Less commonly, extra-genital Lichen Sclerosus appears on the torso, breasts, and upper arms. Lichens Sclerosus is not contagious.

Many doctors are not familiar with Lichen Sclerosus and are not capable of diagnose the disease correctly. Many people are forced to see numerous doctors before a proper diagnosis is made. Lichen Sclerosus, just like a number of other chronic skin diseases, has had limited effective treatments. Generally, doctors advise a strong corticosticosteroid ointment or cream, to offer temporary relief of the itching and discomfort.

The Stem Cell Lift® Procedure

The Stem Cell Lift® is a noninvasive procedure performed under local anesthesia. To alleviate anxiety and then for patient comfort, oral sedative and/or intramuscular injections are usually administered. The operation is done in three stages. First, the region where you wish the fat to be taken from is marked and tumescent local anesthesia is slowly injected utilizing a blunt instrument. Following a short wait to match the anesthetic medication to be effective, fat deposits is removed under local anesthesia employing a mini-liposuction method through engineered instruments. Second, the obtained fat is processed to pay attention the stem cells and increase their ratio towards the fat cells being prepared for injection. Third, local anesthesia is administered and also the super-charged adult stem cells from the own body's fat along with some fat cells are injected. A bandage is positioned about the area where the fat was taken. The entire procedure is done all inside the 24 hour within four hours. People are in a position to walk and resume normal daily activities almost immediately following the Stem Cell Lift® procedure.
