Doraemon is a manga series which was created by Hiroshi Fujimoto. This particular later became an anime series in Japan. The particular series is based on a automatic cat named Doraemon who all travels back in time from the 22nd century. He goes back to aid Nobita Nobi a school youngster. The key characters are Nobita Shizuka Minamoto who is Nobita's girlfriend Nobita's friends Gian a new known bully and Suneo a spoiled wealthy kid Nobita's parents his school teacher and of course the robotic Doraemon.

In Japan the character can be seen to be as popular as Mickey Mouse is at North America and he is more popular by anyone in Asia. The stories that are performed are an excellent look at some sort of child's eye view involving Japanese home life that occurred back in the 70s.
