This new field of medicine will be termed Regenerative Medicine; since it utilizes natural regenerative and reparative powers of stem cells to target tissues and restore these phones health. During the last decade, I've innovated The Stem Cell Lift®, a process that harnesses the power of your own body’s stem cells for use in reconstructive and cosmetic purposes. Today, we have seen remarkable results using the Stem Cell Lift® procedure for reconstruction of post-cancer scarred defects, for painful or damaged joints, ligaments and muscles, for wound healing and then for Lichen Sclerosus.

What is Lichen Sclerosus?

Lichen Sclerosus is a chronic inflammatory disorder of your skin usually involving the genital and anal areas. The illness is at their peak in women, especially post-menopausal women, accompanied by men, and rarely children. As well as unbearable itching much like a chronic yeast infection, the illness may cause scarring of the vaginal tissues and thus, narrows the vagina, which leads to painful intercourse. A lot of women lose their desire to have intercourse for concern with the pain. Less commonly, extra-genital Lichen Sclerosus appears about the upper body, breasts, and arms. Lichens Sclerosus is not contagious.

Many doctors do not know Lichen Sclerosus and aren't able to diagnose the condition correctly. Many patients are instructed to see numerous doctors before an accurate diagnosis is manufactured. Lichen Sclerosus, much like many other chronic skin diseases, has had limited effective procedures. Typically, doctors suggest a strong corticosticosteroid ointment or cream, to supply temporary relief of the itching and discomfort.

The Stem Cell Lift® Procedure

The Stem Cell Lift® is a noninvasive procedure performed under local anesthesia. To alleviate anxiety as well as for patient comfort, oral sedative and/or intramuscular injections are usually administered. The process is done in three stages. First, the location where you want fat deposits being obtained from is marked and tumescent local anesthesia is slowly injected employing a blunt instrument. After a short wait to allow for the anesthetic medication to work, fat deposits is removed under local anesthesia employing a mini-liposuction method through specially designed instruments. Second, the obtained fat is processed to concentrate the stem cells and enhance their ratio towards the fat cells being ready for injection. Third, local anesthesia is administered as well as the super-charged adult stem cells from the own body's fat with some fat cells are injected. A bandage is placed about the area the location where the fat was taken. The entire procedure is completed all inside the same day in about four hours. People are capable of walk and resume normal daily activities almost immediately following your Stem Cell Lift® procedure.
