Richline to purchase Pearl Brand

Richline Group Inc. has created another acquisition. The Berkshire Hathaway-owned manufacturer and marketer announced today that it posseses an agreement, in principle, to buy Honora.

Elsweet Rufino - New York-based Honora continues to be family owned and operated for more than Six decades and is also one of the premier freshwater cultured pearl brands in america and, based on its website, is the largest importer from the gems within the U.S.

Under the agreement, Honora CEO Joel Schechter and President Ralph Rossini will stay on board to perform the business being a standalone brand beneath the Richline Brands division of the company.

HoneyMag - The transaction is predicted to become finished in July.

Richline Group President Dave Meleski said a vital objective of the purchase is to utilize Richline’s financial support and collaboration to totally champion Honora for domestic and international growth. Honora expands our product assortment positioning as a dominate player within the pearl nuggets category, he was quoted saying.
