A Ghillie Suit, or also referred to as a Yowie Suit is a form of camouflage clothing designed to resemble heavy underbrush. It is typically made out of an internet or cloth garment, which itself is comprised of loose strips of cloth blended with real or artificial twine, leaves and twigs. The Ghillie Suit provides excellent concealment in some of nature's harshest natural environments.

The History with the Ghillie Suit, begins during the 1800s in Scotland. In those days the Scottish land owners put on the extender to capture poachers. Through the second and third World Wars, similar suits were utilised, but over these conflicts camouflage wasn't traditionally used by regular soldiers or common soldiers. The British Lovat Scouts' Snipers are recognized to be the first military unit to make use of Ghillie Suits.
