The Once Upon a Christmastime Parade didn't dissatisfy this year! There was a mixture of toy themed drifts, candy and princesses that made the show proper and fun for grownups, along with kids with both girls and boys being represented equally. The floats had remarkable attention to detail; some of them also released the scents of Christmas! One float was gingerbread themed and filled the surrounding area with the smells of a baker at work while another float left the area smelling like peppermint and pine. While the moves were absolutely beautiful, it was the home entertainment walking between them that truly made the parade special. There were toy soldiers, gingerbread guys, reindeer and more, blazing a trail while dancers filed in behind them, interacting with the audience and bringing the spirit to life.
The Magical Snowfall on Main Street immersed guests in a genuine wintertime wonderland. There was snow wandering among the decorations, balloons and crowds as far as the eye could see. Every person stood and marveled as they were delivered to an additional time; the timeless Americana feeling that Main Street brings to visitors was enhanced a hundred times by the nostalgia of Christmas. The normally hectic and busy crowds that fill the major Magic Kingdom pathway was still as households gathered together to delight in the minute, standing huddled together and holding hands as Cinderella's Castle altered colors in the distance and cast members given out free cookies and hot cocoa. It was a really impressive sight.
Celebrate the Magic boggled the mind. In a shock unique presentation, sophisticated projections transformed the Guests anticipate a certain quality from the presentations at Disney and I was ready to see great things, but this show was beyond anything I have previously seen there before. The Live Christmas Spectacular, Celebrate the Season was equally fun. Goofy dressed up like Santa Claus, Donald tried a ballet number, and frosty the snowman himself came out to play. I was amazed at just how well the characters faces moved; their blinking and mouths opening and closing were seamless and credible. All of the singers and dancers involved, as well as the Disney characters did a wonderful job.
Ornaments could possibly be located throughout the park for each of the different areas. (the exact same opts for the songs on the loud speakers).
