There are few items that I anticipate as much as the beginning of summer. Sure, I am the seasons that are loved all by a man, but none give me the excitement that summer inevitably does annually. When I start to feel about summer, I get excited because there are virtually countless items to be excited about. I get excited about being outside without freezing, I get excited about camping trips with my children, I get excited about long days at the beach taking in sunlight and the water, and I get excited about charcoal.
Yes, you read that right. I get stoked up about charcoal. Everything is loved by me about charcoal: its structure, when it's burning the smell of it, and the way that charcoal makes my food smell before I eat it. The fact remains that I enjoy charcoal because it suggests grilling, and grilling is one of my absolute favorite things to do.
Some say that men want to grill, but I'm yet to meet up many men (though I have met a couple of) who share my great enthusiasm for the grill. Basically desire to grill out for an evening meal my spouse never has to ask me twice. Even after the best day of work I am happy and stimulated to go outside and spending some time creating the right fire. Charcoal is my parter in crime as it pertains to cooking an ideal meal or to cooking greens to perfection.
Many people I know have changed over to gas grills. Because I love working with charcoal so much I have refused. As an old grill that will require charcoal the same results does not be just produced by a gas grill. So, much to my wife's dismay, I'm trapped previously where grilling food just right is a matter of using the appropriate number of charcoal and then heating it just right.
My love for charcoal and cooking has changed into a tiny joke among my family and friends before couple of years. They love to mock the very thing I love. I have received a many images, cards and gag gifts mocking my love for charcoal. I don't mind it, really, because it means that I've gotten my point across successfully: I love charcoal and I think that there's no better solution to grill.
