For so long as I can remember, I have been a massive Bruce Lee lover. I can't count the number of hours I have spent watching his movies, nor the number of hours spent wanting to emulate his remarkable fighting styles techniques. There's one scene in particular that will be with me before conclusion of my days; the scene from Enter the Dragon where Bruce kicks some serious bad guy ass with his trusty Nunchakus.

A generation of wanna-be Bruce Lee's was created by that very picture. Exactly how many of you went and haphazardly manufactured your personal 'chucks after seeing this show? I was certainly inspired to do so, and so were most of my friends. Most of us used wooden handles, and after some experimentation chose to change to something softer. Twenty years later, I still have a bump on my mind.

After presenting my son to the secret of Bruce Lee, I decided to manufacture a pair of Nunchakus for him to play with. Having learned from my rather painful problems, I made them from those disposable light stays that the Raver kid's use. Here is ways to make some, too:

Acquire a way to obtain glow sticks and some nylon rope.

Cut an amount of rope approximately 5 inches long.

Attach two light branches alongside the nylon rope.

Begin swinging.

Undoubtedly, it's a straightforward style. My first set was constructed in record time, which will need to have seemed such as for instance a whole life to my daughter as he waited patiently. A second set was made by me and the afternoon was spent by us playing fun ninja activities. From then on, we had an Electrical Rangers movie marathon. My daughter is particularly keen on the Red Ranger. I favor the one.

Down the road that evening, we chose to have one more ninja challenge before sleep. It's amazing how striking Bruce Lee may be. The great thing about our new nunchakus is they glow at night. I dimmed the lights and conducted my best Bruce Lee impression. My son was totally awestruck, as he saw the twirling glowstick nunchakus. I only hit myself in the head once. Only this time, it did not hurt. dhuni
